Yeah, like the NY Times has a vested interest in covering up bad Trump news.

It’s really getting bad for the Dems, but it’s awesome watching them in denial.

the only litmus test that matters to a Trump hater.

Biden is horrible, but there is some metric we can latch on to that says he is better than Trump

I can't say too much I guess, I'm on record saying Trump could be an empty suit and I'd be happy with him over Hillary.

but dayem, Biden is a train wreck of incompetence and incapable combined

I disagree with his remedies, but Reich is spot on with the problem, and he faults Clinton and Obama. Very brave of him.

that was as good read.

I think he is right. I fear a democratic party that is serious about government regulation that would do things to side with the working class - the magic formula would seem fairly obvious to me

single payer health care with caps on costs, promote union participation that works toward a defacto living wage, affordable college education and an revamped immigration system.

instead, all they want to talk about is identity politics , abortion and gun control - all of which are losers to the party.

it was a good read, but it doesn't really matter. This is all about winning or losing in 2024, not the midterms.

Biden (if he is still alive) will be running for re-election in 2024. And that is because that is who the democrat primary voters overwhelmingly, picked. It doesn't make any difference if the GOP opponent in 2024 is the greatest man in the world, democrats will not betray POTUS Biden no matter what he has or has not done.

But Reich forgot to mention why the working class and the middle class are gone and the democrat party doesn't care. They are gone because of immigration. Period. That is it. And the democrat party is beholden to lobbyists financed by big business that demand as much immigration as possible (to drive wages down as low as possible.) Actually, he didn't forget to mention immigration in his piece, he supports open borders and an "all-are-welcome" policy as well. So he had to skirt around the main issue as to why the working class has been destroyed.

I see that now half of the GOP is ready to move away from Trump and Trumpism. We're getting there. Just gotta let his clone DeSantis know they don't want him either. He's so fucking desperate for votes he's got a gas tax holiday already scheduled for all of October.

And here I thought (through his own words) that Trump wiped ISIS off the map "100%".
