Apple wants them built here. They're looking to diversify their manufacturing base outside of China, and I would imagine they want diversify from TSMC.
If it's anything like the manufacture of the Mac Pro trashcans in Austin (2013 models forward are assembled there), they're going to have a lot of hiccups early on due to the lack of a suitable workforce already trained and skilled.
Yup, they are finding it harder and harder to eliminate suppliers.

Spacer educated me on the Commerce clause years ago. Intended for Railroad tycoons and then used to tell business owner who he had to do business with.
I understand the need for it, and it would take a congress full of Ron Paul's to get rid of it, but its a piece of garbage corrupted legislation

It's not legislation or even an amendment. It's part of Article I of the Constitution.

1. Getting Trump out of the way only helps the Republicans win in 2024.
2. Probably still not enough to press charges.
3. The electorate brought down Trump, not this babe. How can you bring a President down when he's not there?

I'm convinced the committee is being assisted by a large element of establishment Republicans (you know, the ones who have been part of the party longer than the whack jobs who have overrun the party) with Cheney as their point. Said establishment sees this committee as a means by which to remove the cancer that is Trump, but they're too late...
