Hmm, this one requires some consideration. Maybe less mistakes than the others, but a few are egregious.

Ron Mexico wrote:No one accused you of copyright infringement, but Ozzie Nelson assured me that the absence of attribution constitutes academic dishonesty. Take it up with him. In the event that he grants your appeal, that list looks more like a B- and closer scrutiny will be needed as to whether it actually passes Mook's score.

There is nothing to attribute. Rotten Tomatoes did not make a list of those. I found the scores and ranked accordinngly. Your comment is out of order! (just watched "A Few Good Men").

Hmm, I'm not pleased with this development. Van Nostron moves into the lead with a B+, and if he wasn't downgraded on general principle, it might even be an A-. Big Red Man got one of the two bonuses but a few egregious errors meant he topped out with a B. Retroactively, AA got one of the bonuses as well, but his gamesmanship means he maintains the B- but moves ahead of Mook on the tiebreaker. Upon further reflection, Bluecat also gets a B+ but loses the tiebreaker to Kamala Van Nostron.

Mexico will clearly have Wedding Crashers in the #1 spot - thanks to the Maryland crab cake and football reference.

Hizzy - shut it!!!!

If that is the case, then he needs a goddamn folding chair to the skull.

I declare myself the winner.

Fuck You.

Eat me.

I'm giving it a few more hours to see if anyone else might participate before I reveal the answers and begrudgingly crown Van Nostron as the champion.

Anchorman

Talladega Nights
The Hangover
Old School
Wedding Crashers

Meet the Parents
Zoolander

40 year old virgin
Step Brothers (was looking forward to this one, very disappointed)
Superbad (I'm pretty sure I saw this one, but can't really remember)

Did not see (or forgot I saw): Role Models, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Knocked Up, Dodgeball

The ones within the groups are pretty much interchangeable, although Wedding Crashers is definitely at the bottom of that group and really only in that group b/c of Will Ferrell, although Vince Vaughn was good. The whole Owen Wilson love interest saga wasn't very funny. The order I put them in (within the various groups) is just how I feel at the moment, although Old School probably should be ahead of The Hangover.

Zoolander and Meet the Parents I thought were both pretty good, but not on par with the group above them. Neither were great, but not bad. All sequels to Meet the Parents have been unmitigated garbage.

Step Bros. might not should be ranked so low, but I'm basing it on failure to deliver in relationship to what I was expecting. I didn't like 40 year old virgin much. Superbad was probably better than I'm ranking it, but I just don't remember much of it...

Fuck it, Old School should be second based on the Will Ferrell dart gun scene alone...

Whoever said Tropic Thunder was right. That would be just below Anchorman. Not quite as funny, but probably a better movie overall...

"Big Red Man got one of the two bonuses but a few egregious errors meant he topped out with a B."

I'm assuming BRM putting Step Bros. at #3 is the egregious error you speak of...

These blooper/outtakes from Step Bros. (starting at the 4:35 mark) are far funnier than anything in the movie...

I'm not really much of a Seth Rogan fan. Don't dislike his stuff, just don't think it's great. I didn't really like Pineapple Express that much. Not bad (none of his stuff is outright bad) but just not even close to classic hilarious. I did like the recent one he did with Adam Sandler. Same with Jonah Hill, he's alright but neither him nor Rogan are in Will Ferrell's league. I did like Get Him to the Greek, though...

I thought Get Him to the Greek was disappointing. Jonah Hill can be a great character actor but that script just seemed kind of lame. Puffy had the best part but not as good as when he dressed down Vince Vaughn in Made for ordering an apertif after dinner
