mentor Brady > mentor Manning
'09 Brady-less pats were 4-2 after 6 games...coming off a 59-0 whipping of the titans. Whereas the '11 colts are floundering at 0-6 (against the softest schedule in the NFL).
disclaimer: these facts merely reflect "mentoring," - any judgements regarding the relative worth of each qb to their respective team when healthy is pure conjecture (although obvious to the pea-brained or educated alike)

The Colts lost again?
Wow. I am surprised they are so awful without Manning. I always knew they would be a mediocre team, at best, without him. Said so many times. But it appears I was giving them too much credit.
...or Manning not enough.

Here is the thing with the Colts and what I think the difference between him and Brady are.
Teams prepare for the Pats and the cheaters defensive schemes and such.
Teams prepare for the Colts on how to keep Peyton off the field and once he is out there, how to slow him down as far as hiding their blitz packages, etc...
Now the Colts don't have Manning - makes it VERY simple to prepare for them. Contain the run and make Painter beat you. Blitz the hell out of Painter and make him beat you. The Colts defense has been the same year after year. Tampa cover 2, don't get beat deep, get to the passer, contain the run as best you can. Bend but don't break kinda thing.
That is the difference between Brady and Manning which I have always said that the NE Coaching >>>>>> Indy Coaching at any point in time.

All true, brm.
I don't like Belicheat, but I'll give the devil his due. He probably ranks coaching-wise up there with the best of them.
The colts, otoh, have had 3 coaches during PM's tenure. I good one and 2 not so hot.

Cracker please. Our special teams are pants on the head retarded. Christ, I could get a return of 20 yds with just a little blocking and when I run, it's like I'm mad at the ground.

Strictly off the top of my head, the last 5 years:
colts 6 playoff wins (including SB) vs 4 losses
foreskins zero playoffs & 5 losing records
Why anybody would bring that kind of abuse upon themselves is a tinfoil hat mystery.

What - you want to compare 10 years instead of 5?
Sez here Washington has won all of
one playoff game in the last 10 seasons. And what's this.. 3 in the last 20 seasons? Cognitively speaking...that can't bring you any pleasure, can it?

Sorry I keep losing track on Rickart's arguments and the way in which he decides.....
THIS YEAR!!
LAST YEAR!!!
ALL TIME!!!
SB WINS!!!
SHOE SIZE!!!
NUMBER OF ENDORSEMENTS!!!
I would suggest eating paint chips in order to figure out his logic, but then was like...not so much. Let him sit in the corner and play with his poop.
