Never much liked Leno much (never disliked him, either, but whatever), but tonight he gained my respect.

To me, Jay Leno is alot funnier outside of the Tonight Show. This session with Seinfeld shows how naturally funny he is. Letterman, OTOH, is not very funny in a natural setting.

I have only gone through a few of these. I hear the chris Rock one is very good. Will have to watch the rest of these this weekend.

Never liked Leno so I won't miss him. Dave is still funny sometimes but his shit has gone stale. If im still up I have been watching Kimmel lately. He cracks me up. So does Fallon though. Should be interesting.

Fallon is funny when he's working with people. His monologues are unfunny to me and his interviewing style is a little too ingratiating. It feels forced. I thought Timberlake nailed his Fallon impression on SNL this season.

The one with Rock is good but not nearly as good as the one with Larry David, naturally. Alec Baldwin is pretty good and the one with Ricky Gervais is pretty good, too. Howard Stern, which came out this week, looks good.

He went out to eat with Don Rickles, who ordered a salad. Seinfeld: So, now I've gotta watch an old Jew eat a salad?

Fallon is only funny when he's trying not to laugh and then he makes me laugh so hard I'm about to cry.

I haven't tried it yet, but apparently Netflix and other providers have different agreements to show movies overseas than they do here.

A plugin called HOLA was designed to allow people in China to see these movies via netflix but now its catching on in the United States and by using it you get to watch a wider selection of movies that aren't offered via Netflix in the states.

From Chris Rock's clip:

"People now ask me for $5,000 like it's the time."

heh...and they get pulled over by the police. The only black guy in the series and *thats* the episode they get hassled by the police. That will be good material for Rock though.

Armisen is a weird dude. I guess it's a twist on the old Ed McMahon role, though. So, in that way, it's kind of genius. I doubt he does it for more than a year, though.

I wish that was me on the left.

reading his Bio, Armisan was in Blue Man Group and was the lead guitarist in a punk band for several years.

I think its a smart move for Meyers - always good to have someone just as funny, if not funnier than you on the show.

"I wish that was me on the left."

I was about to say, if that was you, you looked like you dropped about 30 lbs. since the machine gun photo. Speaking of which, Armisan appears to be in the same pose as your machine gun pic, although a little more humble looking. That dude on the far left does kinda look like you, though. He appears to have some kind of backstage pass clipped to his belt loop, so I thought maybe you had gotten in for the show or some such...
