Of course you do want the government to fix stupid things like heroin use, or pretend to fix them, or pretend to do something that pretends to fix it. So you really do want the government to fix stupid shit, but only the shit you find stupid. Basically you want the government to be a reflection and instrument of everything you believe, but not a reflection or instrument of anything you don't believe.
