That's assuming the car manufacturers can advance the technology enough to bring down the fact that EV's are on average 25-30% heavier. Until then, it will actually take more energy to move around those electric cars.
Friend of mine is a VP of a logistics company that works alot with BMW plant here. They are requiring logistics company to use more EV trucks for transporting. A new EV truck costs $400K, a new diesel costs $180K. The EV is 6,000 lbs heavier and, therefore, can haul 6000 lbs less goods than a diesel. The range is 192 miles and loses 10% of the range every year it gets older. A new battery will be needed at a cost of $40K every 4 years. No one tells you the lithium mining that is needed to keep making these batteries. If they did, many of these armchair environmentalists would say, what? more mining? that's not what we signed up for.

American grown grain is the same as American produced oil. We grow a shit ton of corn, soybeans and wheat in this country, but guess what? Prices are at record highs right now, which means the food (and animals) that use all that corn and wheat and soybeans are going to cost the consumer more. But wait? Didn't I say a shit ton was grown right here in America? So why is the price so high? WHHHAAAAAAA!! We produce a shit ton, but the farmers and dealers are selling to the highest bidder, they're not keeping the prices low for Americans so we can eat cheap. WHHHHAAAAAAA!!! It's not fair!
But guess who's benefitting? The bedrock of the GOP, farmers, are getting record prices for their product. Do you think they're complaining about that? Of course, they're still pissed that gas and diesel are so high, but they're not pissed that they're making almost $20 a bushel for their soybeans and $10 a bushel for corn and wheat, it was less than half that 2 years ago and really for several years before that, when Trump put up his tariffs on China and they quit buying our soybeans, but the farmers didn't care b/c guess what? the government cut them a check to cover their losses. Ain't capitalism grand?
Basically everybody wants to get paid the maximum for everything they produce or for their time, but they want to pay the least amount possible for every product or service they purchase, and think that anybody who wants more is greedy and is fucking them, but they still want the max for anything associated with their income. Americans are basically the living embodiments of greed and stupidity...

The rainbow stripes is the standard pride flag. I can work out the chevron stripes, the pink, baby blue, and white is for trans. I guess brown and black are for like racial minorities? Purple circle is a mystery. Hedge seems to know.
