Just bumped it again in the Generals Quarters, just for you. You will see my name Big Orange Junky as the last poster in the thread but all I have done is bump. Hubbs confirms.

Tick, you may want to go back to taking your meds.

I directly quoted Hubbs, just go look, oh that's right you wouldn't admit it even if you did. I provided the link and even bumped it to the top of The Generals Quarters for you.

I don't know why you want to claim I am making things up. That's uncalled for.

NO. NO. NO mention of Big Orange Junky. Four topics listed. Four posters listed...no Big Orange Junky. Why do you lie?

Tick I don't lie. There are HUNDREDS of topics, HUNDREDS. The board is so busy that things are dropping off that were posted just a few hours ago.

Lucky for you I took pictures of the thread in question and I will put them on my Facebook page just for you buddy. The pics are because the topics cycle off so quickly on such a busy board that I didn't want to risk losing that just in case your tactic is to stall untill it falls off so you can still deny it.

If you can tell me how to do a screenshot then I will do that for ya too. ;)

Seriously Tic, when you started claiming I was lying, knowing that the posts that were posted at 930 pm eastern had already cycled off the board I took pictures of the response I quoted above. I am about to upload it to my facebook pictures just so you can see it.

I can be wrong, I can be misinformed but I don't lie. I honestly wish I knew a way to get it to post right here in this thread.

Odd that John Adams, the Sports Editor for the Knoxville News Sentinel has yet to write one word about academics holding back the football program. Or the football beat writer, Mike Strange. Or any newspaperman anywhere for that matter.

Funny how the current AD has never complained about "the english department." Or the AD before that (Radar), or the AD before that (Dickey), or the AD before that (Woodruff). Or Dooley. Or Kiffin. Or Fulmer. Or Majors. Zip. Nada.

Now some loon is trying to convince me with a blog post from someplace called the Goat Pen. No - sorry, a place called General Quarters from Volquest. Pfft..

It's only Brent Hubbs etc. They don't count.

Neither does our current AD who has been trying and trying to tell the coaches that the problems were addressed. That's why Cheek gave his little speach saying he supported athletics, really really he does.

Then Strong does the research, talks with Cheek and goes from "will walk to Knoxville to take the job" to staying at Louisville.

You don't want to believe Hubbs, Matthews, Hyams etc fine by me and I wouldn't care but when you said I made it up I had to call you on that crap. There was no call for that.

They may be wrong but that's where the info came from.

And just to recap, direct quote from Hubbs when asked about academics being the thing that did the Strong hire in

"I have said and thought from the get go that Hart/Cheek had to have real answers to candidates on the academic stuff.

I don't know that it's the only reason that that Strong said no simply because he called so many people about the job that I'm not sure the sole reason he said no was academics."

There's a reason they had those questions to answer in the first place, at least according to some journalists.

You make up quotes. You attribute words to people that were never spoken or written. It's what you do.

No I absolutely positively do not. The above quotes are directly copied and pasted word for word with quotation marks around them. If I say it's a direct quote then it's a direct, identical quote no question about it.

I have been wrong before, you have too so don't act like you haven't but I have never, ever made anything up and put it on here or any other board and I have never made up a quote on anybody.
