You don't know why their decision was leaked. Neither do I. You don't even know who officially leaked it. You have no idea what you are saying, you stupid motherfucker.

The only thing that I know is that you do NOT want any criminal proceedings to begin against the would be leaker. You don't care that what they did was against the law. You would only care if they were leaking something that you agree with. That makes you a hypocrite.

If they took this vote, and the leak is the vote they took, then that is likely it. This is happening. Its just a matter of when it will be official. And although you are a stupid mother fucker, we both know which 5 justices voted to repeal Roe-vs-Wade. But it will be happening. A leak will not alter that.

But what if a Republican leaked it? Hmmmm.....Anyway. Not gonna happen. America doesn't want your pro-life agenda. You were all about my body my choice when it came to sticky jabby but when it comes to a peanut sized blob of nothing you're not about my body my choice. Oh the irony. You're a wacko. Stupid motherfucker.

Maybe they did? I'm saying I don't know. And you don't either.

Then Ohio should pass a state law allowing abortion. Let them. I don't live there. I can't control it.

Some states have capital punishment. Some do not. Some states have legalized euthanasia. Some are disgusted by it. Federalism is a feature of the United States, not a bug out to harm the federal government.

I never defended the mandatory sticky "jab." And I never attacked it. I had no position the mandates. That said, I don't think linking mandatory vaccinations to legalized abortion are in the same ballpark rat.

this is how you make a speech calling for insurrection

I'm sure everyone will agree with me that a literal call to arms against the foundation of our legal courts is a criminal act given the outrage over Trumps speech.

Despite the written claim to the contrary, this opinion would lead the way to rolling back Lawrence v. Texas, Griswold v. Connecticut, and Obergefell v. Hodges.

Personally, I agree with those who have the opinion that this was leaked by someone in Alito or Thomas' camp to pressure Kavanaugh to vote with them to make that opinion binding via majority vote. I would not be surprised if Kavanaugh has joined on with Roberts in a middle ground, controlling opinion in which they vote to uphold the Mississippi law but do not overturn Roe wholesale. By putting this out there, the leakers are attempting to hem in those five votes and ensure that the justice(s) contemplating Roberts on a middle ground opinion are going to be subject to immense scorn and disdain. In the end, I think such a move would backfire and force the hand(s) of the wavering vote(s) to be more likely to take Roberts' likely middle ground in an effort to uphold the appearance of judicial independence.

we hired a guy at work about 8 years ago, trained him up.

Paid him a bunch of money and promoted him to take on added responsibility in the last 3 years. He takes a class I created and improved it, updated it to the latest release and then created one from scratch with the help of a senior employee who put in a shit load of hours to help him develop content.

This is a customer facing class that is a revenue generator for us

Only he quits last year and it gets dumped in my lap. So I get it going and working because it was filled with errors - but that isn't the point of this, I'm just venting here.

Last week we find out this guy has opened his own consulting training company teaching the two classes he was responsible for here. All of our IP is copyright protected and since he created this content and his knowledge on the subject (again, OUR product, not a general knowledge thing you can learn in college) was developed as a paid employee

I think we have a legal case against him. He pulled in $500K so far this year taking business away from us.

Now they're afraid of a Mayor. Priceless.

8 years in the same place is a long time nowadays. Don't be jealous he's smarter than you.

"this is how you make a speech calling for insurrection"

It's one thing to insurrect over your rights being taken away, it's another trying to overthrow a legally conducted election based on nothing more than you didn't like the results...

Why would anybody on the left be behind it? The opinion was going to be published in a few months anyway, it's not like you gain any advantage leaking it earlier. But somebody on the right stood to gain a lot by showing what was in the draft opinion and thereby daring any of the rightwing justices to back off from it as presented.

I don't usually agree with Reich on much, including his list of grievances on the R party in this article, but the overall concept of two parts of our country being separate yet still staying "married" is probably where we are heading.

to get exactly what is happening now - protests and congress in action. Its just a draft opinion but with it leaking out if it sets the world on fire then they'll casually delay acting on it.

no its not

first of all - nothing has happened - only the presumption that something will happen

which is true in both cases.
