I meant somebody from the right leaked it to give repubs time to gauge the reaction and prepare accordingly. And also knowing that the attention span of the general public is akin to a gnat's, they probably figured it would be better to get it out there sooner than later to avoid backlash in November. The decision was always going to be officially announced before the midterms, but if it had come out a month or two before the midterms, people might be more fired up to come out and vote. By releasing it now they can be assured that some people will have either forgotten about it or at the very least not care that much anymore...

"They" are not coming for porn. You can count on that. "They" came after abortion because anyone who has ever looked at a 3D ultrasound knows, every single time there is an abortion, its murder.

Porn doesn't kill (or even physically hurt) anyone. And to be honest hedge, I expect in the next 10 years or so, there will be sexbots. Now for you and I, we will be old and it wont matter for us. But (given amount of time and money Japan has been spending perfecting them) I fully expect lifelike sexbots will be available for purchase by any Incel, and (depending on how lifelike they are to the touch) they will sell.

The only people who have a problem with pornography (and when I say problem, I mean with a willingness to seek out government authority to criminalize) are feminists. And the only reason why feminists have a problem with porn, is because the more porn there is available, the less "power" women have over men. If men can sexually gratify themselves without submitting to the authority of a woman (and porn provides that outlet) then women have less power. And less power means less control over men. And on the margins, the uglier the woman, the less power (and control) she has. The religious right is not out to criminalize porn. They use shame instead (but only among their congregation.)

You want to protect porn? Go after feminism.

Its vitally important. 54% of all black babies are murdered in utero in NYC. Its upwards of 45% for Latina babies. Maybe NARAL doesn't care about minorities, but I do.

My daughter went to a prom last week. There were hardly any boys at it. And the few that were there, they sat on the sidelines watching all the girls dance only with themselves when they weren't staring at their screens. In order for kids to have sex, the boys must pursue. Increasingly, they do not. The testosterone is getting lower and lower and lower. But keep smoking all that pot, that will surely help.

I think it's a huge win for the Dems. This is now the Mid-Term issue and the majority of Americans are pro-choice. That and ads about Jan 6th against any Repub between now and November will sink them.
