In my snake pic, if you look, you can see a squirrel-eaten pecan buy the snake's body. They think my woods are a goddamned Piggly Wiggly.

Haven't seen any copperhead this year, but last year saw two. One was 3 feet long. I beat the shit out of it with a rake long past it was dead because I hate them so much. We have two outdoor cats now that help keep the rodents away so that helps. We have woods behind my house as well and I still always have my head down when walking in my back yard.

3foot long is almost a record I think. They usually stay 2 feet or less.

I have a picture of it in one of our devices, I'll have to find it.
