Strickland tore his ACL last night, he's out for the season. I know he gets the least press of all our starters, but he was a high energy guy and by far our best defender. The only way this isn't going to be a huge blow to the team is if Hairston and Bullock really step up and start hitting 3's consistently and often. If they can combine to make up for the loss of Strickland's defense with an extra 8-10 ppg, we might be alright, but hitting 3's is a hit-or-miss affair, as Tar Heel fans know only too well (see, on the positive side, Donald Williams's FF explosion in '93 and on the negative side, Donte Calabria and Shammond Williams on several agonizing occasions)...

Is it 'Tar Heel' or 'Tarheel'?

But I'll answer your question with a question: Is it Don Sutton or Donsutton?

That's an unusual pronounciation. Might need go talk to someone who actually went to UNC, like glodenbra.

I hope Dexter can recover for his sake for next year,
losing Dexter means White is going to have to play minutes now Marshall will need 5 minutes off a game

"losing Dexter means White is going to have to play minutes now"
I hope Roy asks him if he's ready to step up now that Dexter is out and the kid answers yes and then Roy replies "That's mighty White of ya"...

Some good match-ups in college hoops today. Any chance Bammer upsets UK?

Well, I simply don't believe that. Mathematically, anyway.

Quite possible. Bama's defense is very good. Wouldn't surprise me one bit. Should be a close game anyway.

We were blown out by Vandy at home. Beating Kentucky on the road is not just unlikely, it's ridiculous to even ponder.

Vanderbilt and Florida are the only obstacles standing in Kentucky's way of running the table in the SEC. Well, I guess Renardo Sidney could knockout Anthony Davis with a punch to the unibrow.

UK is undoubtedly very talented, very well-coached and very teachable, but they are far from unbeatable. Not sure why. Now if this group all stayed for next year, they'd be unbeatable. Or if Knight was on the team this year, they'd be nearly unbeatable. That's the downside of winning those recruiting titles that mean so much to Crow every year. Never enough continuity and experience to create a true juggernaut. Not that I'm complaining...

Way to foul on the inbounds Lamb, with your team up 4 with 24 seconds to play. LMAO,.,

Your guys should have had that one, AA. Bammer outplayed UK, neutralized Davis and got Gilchrist in foul trouble. Don't know how you didn't win, truth be told...
