I saw on Reddit the other day people were talking about Ezra Miller losing his mind. Guy has been arrested twice (I believe) in the past few weeks.

The mod locked the discussion because people referred to the guy playing the Flash in DC Movies as Him/His as opposed to his preferred pronoun of them/they

The person wasn't being insulting, he was just stating something like "I think he got arrested 2 weeks and his bail was set at....." and the mod corrected the guy, then someone else posted in the same light and the mod just locked the discussion down because people weren't being respectful of Ezra's wishes (who I doubt even knew about a discussion on him in Reddit) to be called they/them.

Damn straight its fucked up. If a congressman asked the CEO of Reddit why they went and did that, you would probably hear some silly boilerplate narrative about "doxxing" or what-not, never addressing the issue. That is what happened when they put the CEO of Twitter on the spot for banning people.

Damn. Took me awhile to realize you replied back. I raised my daughters to be honest, responsible young women. I gave them and still give them everything they need to succeed. I'm there when they need me and they know that. They don't ask if they don't really need and that's exactly how I want them to be. It's there for them. But they are young women now, not kids. I raised them and they went out into this world as they should when they became adults. I don't need to make their decisions for them. Like it or not I trust them to do what's best for them and makes them happy.

How many family members do you have who committed suicide? I have two. They were both men who were given a terminal cancer diagnosis. They both opted out via a bullet fired through their temples. Let me assure you, while it might have been quick and probably painless for them, it was painful and ruinous for so many of my family members for years. A lot of therapy asshole.

I wish that there was something (anything) that I could done to talk them out of the most selfish thing they could do, before they went and did what they did. But they just did it. You'll understand if I am little bit sensitive when it comes to suicide rates. I'll have you know, the state of Wyoming (fucking WYOMING) is tied for 3rd in the country for the highest rate of gun homicide. What you would NOT know (because democrats don't talk about it, because they can't win elections by talking about it) that 84% of those gun homicides in Wyoming, are suicide.

Suicide rates are important but we don't talk about them. You know why we don't talk about suicide rat? Because its pretty much just men who go and kill themselves. And we live in a feminist centric society. And in that world, women have value and men do not. So no one gives a shit if men die by way of suicide. We only change policy when WOMEN die of suicide. That is the only reason why all 50 states have adopted no-fault-divorce law, to prevent unhappily married women from committing suicide.

I am not a lunatic rat. I see a broken and shitty world. We are that way because far too many people tolerate how broken and shitty things are.

You are only willing to raise your hand and call out bad behavior if its someone that you disagree with politically. And quite often, the behavior is not bad, just different than what you are used to.

Stop worrying about our former President(s) (both Trump and Obama.) We need to try and make a go with what we have. At the moment, with a bloody war in Europe (no one's fault here), no one gives much of a damn about Biden. That affords us the opportunity to think locally and get things done (like the law they just passed in Florida.) DeSantis is trying to make things better. Because you have children, I would have hoped you would have appreciated what he was doing.
