My brother was talking to me about seeing Loretta at an auditorium in Louisville a few years back. Said it was kinda sad, she sat on the edge of the stage because she couldn’t stand and had the audience sing because she forgot the words to some of her songs, but the venue was small enough people in the audience could shout out song requests. He said it was full of eastern Ky folks yelling out “Sang Loretti, SANG! She said the place was full of her kind of people.

I would've loved to have been at that show. So much better than some ginormous Rolling Stones nostalgia show or festival with 200,000 people where you can't see the stage or hear the music...

As long as a band like this exists, we're probably living in some kind of alternate demon world. In not one but 2 separate well known songs, they sing about raping babies. These guys are literally the demon Beatles.

Which one of your uncles tore your asshole apart when you were little? Was it Freddy? He always looked weird with that lazy eye.

Truth be known I once saw Gwar in the 90's in Winston Salem. By the end of the show Oderus was high on coke and god knows what else. Dude was in a pair of stockings at the encore. Second song in his dick is straight out and he's tapping the mic on it to the beat of the song.

I emailed the gwar fanclub and the next day and asked what was Oderus thinking. They sent me back a day later "ouccchhhh ouuuuuucchhh owwwwwwww."

My right nostril is runny like I’ve been hitting key bumps all day, but alas it’s just allergies…

Growing up isn’t as much fun as I thought it would be

That was a great read.

I also listened to a couple of hours of that podcast talking about Big Star that was linked on that page. Good stuff!
