Great job, puter.

How did you retrieve those posts from the now-defunct WXing? Or did you save them to post them on the anniversary?

However, they were moving.

New CNN Poll of Republican Nominee candidates:

Perry 30%
Romney 18%
Palin 15%
Paul 12%
Bachmann 10%

Looks like most Bachmann supporters (i.e. Tea Partiers) have switched to Perry.

The day that it was going down I went back and saved as a complete web page everything starting from Cardinole's first post thru to the next 100 web pages. Total of 991 posts from 9/11/01 at 1:13 pm (whatever time zone Wxing was in) to 9/13/01 at 8:52pm.

Glad I did because the server cut off unexpectedly.

In fact many people probably never saw the last post on Worldcrossing:

"We tried to draw them offsides and had to call timeout...that play never works of course, but you hope there's one moron on the other side." - D. Dooley (vs Vandy 11/20/2010)

BTW, it's worth pointing out that these polls are AFTER the first debate with Perry present. Perry benefited mightily from that debate in the polls, while Romney stayed in place. This despite the following innocentbystander predictions:
Romney has the GOP nomination. It will not be Sarah. I doubt Sarah even runs, and we all know that President Obama would love it if she does (because he can beat her.)
Mitt is going to carve up his opponents in the first debate. When Mitt debates Michelle Bachman, sadly Mitt is probably going to embarrass her the way he did McCain and Huckabee. Mitt's ability to separate healthcare mandates at the state level vs the federal level is starting to make sense to anyone who reads the US Constitution.
Mitt would crush this field in a debate. And he would crush the President. This is what happens when you know exactly what you are talking about....
Fox News is wrong about 2012. They keep forgetting how good a communicator Mitt Romney is. They keep forgetting that Mitt never loses debates, ever. They keep forgetting that Mitt understands government, business, and (most importantly) economics. They obviously weren't listening to New Jersey Governor Chris Christie when he all but endorsed Romney after the speech he gave on Thursday. It was that lecture that got him all those $2500 donations yesterday.

Mitt is the nominee. He is one of the very few GOP candidates that can actually snatch away those true moderates that voted for Obama so the GOP better get wise and realize they have a winner here.
Then you'll be voting for President Obama. Romney wins the GOP nomination.
And, my personal favorite:
Now maybe the Tea Party does not like Mitt Romney. I'll buy that. Problem is, Mitt Romney likes the Tea Party. And eventually they will come around.
Right now, the Tea Party is coming around to Perry, not Willard.

Arabs < 9,000

I think we're winning.

We'll all be bummed out when the US troops pull out, and Baghdad and Kabul look like Saigon did in 1975.

Less expansive but equally telling were the remarks of House Democratic Whip Steny Hoyer, who in a conversation with reporters Tuesday morning said bluntly that Obama would take some blame for the two special election losses.

LMAO! Obammer....take the blame?????....for anything?
