Hard to see the Giants not winning this one now. Hasn't seemed like a great game somehow, but this 4th quarter has been compelling. You can't ever put any game on one play, but if Welker makes that easy catch....

I don't really care, I'm not a Pats fan by any means, but somehow found myself pulling for them. Whatever, Nicks has been a big part of this win for the Gigantes. Not a bad Super Bowl. FWIW, I made a great chili. Best ever. Just sayin...

Holy crap, I think that's the first time I've ever seen them actually let the guy thru. Still don't see the Pats getting a TD here, but here we go...

Well, this ain't Brady's fault...

Fuck, why not put 15 men of the field for your defense in that situation? They have to let the ball snap in order for it to be a penalty at all, so you've got 15 men on defense, making it almost impossible for the offense to complete a pass or score, and the only penalty you can incur is 5 yards. I'd take that every time..

Congratulations to the Washington Redskins for beating the Super Bowl champions twice this season.

Bad day for ESPN: not only do the Pats lose but their beloved blue Devils fall at home to lowly Miami. Good for them the Yankees don't play for another seven weeks or so.

Glad the Giants won. Not that I have a passion for either team, but I guess it's a relative anti-Belichek thing

It's a long shot, given Houston's professional football history, but if the Texans are holding the Lombardi Trophy by this time next year, this city's going to be shutdown for a good two weeks.

Of course, I've already jinxed it, so Spacer and aggy are already wishing bad shit on me, but I'm just saying...

It's creepy, though. Again, the Pats are a scoring machine, Brady's having a career year, the Giants get in the playoffs by the skin of their teeth, the Giants beat the Pack on the road to make it to the SB, the Giants hold the Pats offense down, and Eli benefits from an incredible catch by one of his WR on the game-deciding drive.

Creepy.

Nyaaa. He's probably a very, very proud big brother and much happier that it was Eli over Brady.

Yeah, I think Peyton's proud of baby brother. That said, I'm sure he's anxious to get to a team that's right at the cusp next season. Problem is, I'm not sure where he could go, other than the Jets, and even then I don't know how the Jets could afford him.

Now I gotta listen to the NY bastards all week. I fucking hate life right now. So, I'll be on an ESPN/Talk Radio media blackout for a few days. It's not like a Philly kid hasn't had his fair share of sports disappointments over the years, but still...

I'd prefer he went to Washington, (but then he'd have to play his brother twice a year) so he wouldn't be the AFC. I can see him going to KC or especially Arizona. Peyton Manning and Fitzgerald? Could be devastating.

Was Bradshaw trying to Tebow before he fell into the endzone?

I think he forgot that he wasn't supposed to score. He didn't remember until it was too late and then he tripped over himself.
