Going on a family cruise in May, Eastern Caribbean. Probably the last trip with my oldest for a while. He's graduating from college. Going to grad school for at least the master's (maybe Ph.D). He's like his mom; super smart, serious studier.

You are getting too old not to have travelled--and don't say you can't afford it!!! go online to Friendly Planet .com, they have some wonderful trips and prices are great. We last went on their 'Taste of China"
flew from San Francisco to Beijing, (3 days there) toured around fobidden city, climbed the Great wall etc. Hotel was first class and only about 15 people in the group so not a zillion people. (we also went in Feb. so not a zillion people around!} flew to XiAn to see the terracotta warriors (absolutely unbelievable) I had my photo with the farmer who found them, he was paid about $10!! again, hotel for the nigh was a gorgeous suite, then we flew to Shanghai --love Shanghai!! for 3 days --again great hotel, we then added the flight to Hong Kong and as we have friends their we didn;t go with the group just stayed at the hotel and flew back with them to SF. Cost was about $1500 per person and included all flightsand many meals Check out the website, I am looking at the Egypt one.. they save money by offering options rather than including the options whether you want them or not. we did a few, like an acrobatic show $75 but have a look.

timing is everything now. Like I said, go on a cruise (for 4 of us) this year. Go to Dragoncon every labor day. Sent the son to Spain for a week (3300 dollars). May go to Mt. Rushmore, Custer's last stand for July 4th this year. Will also probably visit the White House this summer.

Plus, it took a while to pay off my debt from going to law school. Cost me about $850,000 to go when you figure my lost income for those 3 years. If I had going back into medicine like I originally intended, I would have made up for it quicker. But I am happy.

took a while to pay off my ezloan cash advance. had to tell the kid sorry cant pay your Johnson county community college entrance fee of 150, didn't lose any income was able to give plasma last few months despite the dehydration,

my 9-year-old is into Harry Potter. He's read 2 or 3 of the books already and they're like 300 pages. I'm pretty sure I never read a 300-page book at that age unless it was the Baseball Encyclodpedia but even that would have been when I was 11 or 12.

she's got and read all the books and has dragged me to the first 2 or 3 of those movies. I finally had enough. the girl had titties and boys were shaving. I was tired of watching them.

If you do, stay in one of the Universal hotels that lets you go in early.
