Heh, even James "Cueball" Carville said he would rather watch the R debate than prez teleprompter.

Obama is still suffering from the Speech Illusion, the idea that he can come down from the mountain, read from a Teleprompter, cast a magic spell with his words and climb back up the mountain, while we scurry around and do what he proclaimed.

Most prominent is chief crackpot of the Republican Party, Paul Braun of Georgia. One of his pet projects was a bill to ban the sale of porn to our troops
When I was deployed, the troops had to get by with Maxim.

Crash, I hate to burst your impression of the gullibility of chaplains. But I will.
Deployed soldiers today have something that soldiers from previous American soldiers never had: plenty of female soldiers around. And many of those female soldiers are very intent on getting pregnant by anybody since that will put them on the next plane home.
Soldiers from previous wars had porn. Soldiers today can make their own.

I would think the ones who wanted out would get knocked up before they deployed.
the ones getting knocked up over there are because they thoiught they could go without for a year and didn't need birth control --6 weeks later they were so horny they didn't give a flying shit
I spent a few months with an FSB --those girls were ready for anything about 3 weeks into a field problem

More than once I walked past the motor pool late at night and heard the squeaking of deuce-and-a-half frames and "Oh! Oh! Oh! Oh!..."
If they had female soldiers in WWII, Private Dogface would have said, "Sorry, Sarge; I can't storm Omaha Beach this morning; I've got a hot date tonight."

Well this is no shit! My first squadron, circa 1985, had females. It was shore duty, and a replenishment squadron. Guy and girl, while standing watch duty, get caught in the intake of an A7-E.

Well, it wasn't that hard to do. Those old corsairs had big jet intakes at chest level. Were they ABH's?

Tonight was the first time I've ever seen or heard Perry. Having done so, if he is elected, I firmly believe the presidential limousine will quickly sprout a trailer hitch dangling a pair of plastic faux testicles.

Okay, anyone who watched the GOP debate tonight already knows this but for 6 of those candidates, its all over. Cain, Newt, Bachman, Santorum, Huntsman, and especially Dr Paul, you all need to take Tim Pawlenty's cue and exit the race. Goodbye, go home. You are all very nice people and I admire much of what you are saying, but you are all the children at this point. There are exactly two adults in the room. Both of them would absolutely crush President Obama in the general election. And President Obama and the Democrats already know this which is why they are going to tear down Rick Perry every chance they get as well as wishing for DEATH THREATS for Willard Mitt Romney.

Nobody is going to crush Oprama.
He is still getting slobbed by the MSM, he will return to Oprah and he will win. Probably rather easily.

Doubtful....he's totally lost the middle. He does have blacks/commies and MSNBC still firmly in his corner, but that won't win.

Family doctors have been ordered to ration the number of patients they send for life-saving cancer scans to save money.
They are being told to slash the number they refer to hospital for tests including ultrasounds, MRIs and CT scans commonly used to spot tumours.
Last night experts warned the cost-saving measures increased the risk of patients being diagnosed too late and dying unnecessarily.
Britain has one of the lowest cancer survival rates in Europe, and experts say late diagnosis is to blame.

Luck has nothing to do with it. If President Obama created a Carter-esque "
misery index", that index would be higher than it was in 1979.
By the by, the one who won the debate in the Reagan Library last night, reminds all the moderates of Reagan. (These are the same moderates who voted for Obama in 2008.)
Moderates play Kingmaker. They didn't regret their 1992 Clinton votes in 1996 because they fucking hated Dole. This time around, I hear a lot of regret and I live in one of the most purple states in the nation.
