Unfortunately, yes.

MSU has a better chance beating aTm than Ole Miss has beating Bama.

I think Bama will win, but not easily.

If Ole Miss completes the Daily Double today the endtimes are certainly upon us.

AA - have you ever hung out at Mannings down by Harrah's on a college game day?

I've been, but not for game day.

Bama didn't need that blatant no-call of the face mask that led to a TD.

It was a bad call. No doubt. Of course OM has had a number of block in the backs not called and then the PI.

Sorry to see Drake's injury. It reminds me of Tyrone Prothro's.

Hate being so right on these things.

Especially when you are right only 1 or 2 weeks of a season.

He was right about this game. Bama just isn't a fearsome team this year. Very good, as always, but not as good as recent vintages. Which is somewhat cold comfort for the lower tier teams, b/c it's not so much that they've gotten that much better, it's just th at Bama is a cut below usual. Not saying OM and MSU aren't better than they have been, obviously they are, but I don't think this Ole Miss team beats any of Bama's teams from the past 4 years (maybe last year, but definitely not any of the 3 previous to that). Anyway, bully for them. You gotta get a win like this every couple of decades...

Bama now drops to fourth behind Ole Miss, Mississippi State, and (likely) Auburn.

This was easily the biggest day in regular season college football history in the state of Mississippi.

The Bulldogs looked like the best team in the country. The Rebels beat the best team in the country.

All teams are flawed this year. AU is looking great against LSU tonight but should have lost to KSU last week. It wouldn't surprise me if we ended up with no undefeated teams and a half dozen one loss teams. That would be interesting for the playoff committee.

We got our offense back tonight. Marshall is throwing really well. Nice to see Coates coming back from injury and have a good night. LSU's defense isn't up to its usual standards. No way would Marshall run right between two unblocked safeties to score a TD.

Our defense continues to improve. Thank you Ellis Johnson. LSU's freshman QB is clearly rattled. I don't expect him to lead a comeback tonight. I can relax and enjoy a rare win against the Bayou Bengals.
