normally I take off last week and this week for work, unfortunately we had 2 guys quit that were our coding specialists in our app that uses JSON as a layer for customizing the UI, so I'm using an editing tool to build a schema dictionary and walk two of our customers thru integrating a legacy app to connect with our back end. I have 21 days to learn our schema, API set and Declarative commands.

I wish I had some guys from India to do this because I'd much rather sit on the couch listening to my wife scream from a cold water blast that hits her asshole.

Exactly. PRECISELY. I knew eCat would get this. You would much rather sit on the couch listening to your wife scream from a cold water blast that hits her asshole. But guess what eCat, there are no more Indians to get. So Bezos, Gates, Zuckerberg, Page and Brin, Steve Cook, Lanzone, they are all going to get together and bribe the fuck out of congressional democrats (via their DC lobbyists) to import another 1,000,000 if they can get them. That was RIGHT THERE in the Build Back Better bill that failed in congress.

This shit worked back in 1990 with the immigration act. The players then were different (IBM, HP, Compaq, AT&T, etc) but the goal remained the same, import India because we don't want to pay US citizens that do not know how to do this shit to spend the time to figure out how to do this shit. We just need it done now. And we need it done cheaply or its OUR ass. And we would rather sit on our couch and listen to our wives scream when cold water hits their assholes then figure the shit out.

The thing you have to ask though is this, who benefits when you can import slaves from India? You do eCat. Certainly not hedge, rat, or sardis. Pay them to do it. Pay hedge to learn JSON and ignore that felony on his resume.

Maybe DS can fill in the blanks here but that guy I work with who got arrested last year for soliciting sex from a minor online, convincing her to send him sex videos and whatever. I was able to find that his case had been adjudicated, I assume he took a plea deal. Most of the possession of child pornography F3 felonies were dropped but he plead guilty to about 8 F2 Felony for variations of sex with a minor.

I read that conviction of a F2 Felony is 5-10 years. His sentencing is in April. I just wonder if those are consecutive or concurrent. He is 50 yrs old now and had a spotless record, not even a speeding ticket until now. He never met the girl so seems like any serious prison time is overly harsh but another guy we know back in 2007 got 5 years in a sting operation thinking he was talking up a 14 year old.

He is talented enough to make a good living doing gig and contract work even if he can never hold a real white collar job again. If he gets probation his life won't change much other than he'll be a registered sex offender. If he goes to jail - well I suspect his life will go off the rails.

regarding your George Bailey avatar eCat, I made the family watch It's a Wonderful Life on Christmas Eve. There is so much Americana in that movie that has had such an impact and influence over our culture as US citizens (and how we live among each other), its amazing that movie has touched us in so many ways. To think that a man with so much potential can touch so many lives even if all that he does, is entirely localized. He financed a suburb and improved the lives of 1000 people. And they love him for it. Its truly amazing.

I read this shit and I ask myself, where the FUCK was the Palm Beach Police Department where 60+, 14 year old girls from West Palm Beach ,were taking $200 a pop to give Epstein hand jobs, sometimes 100 times each? The girls just wanted drug money, everyone knew what was going on, and no one was protecting them from this guy.

I am assuming this is a state matter, e, and in that case, sentencing — like most everything — is often state specific.

The movie actually didn't do well in theaters , post war America's taste for movies wasn't about the Norman Rockwell paintings brought to life. They were tired of Mom and apple pie. It wasn't until it became Saturday afternoon public domain fare that it became appreciated for portraying a way of life that appealed to the working class.

That and Mr. Smith goes to Washington represent an America that everyone wants but knows could never exist.

Jimmy Stewart and I grew up in the same hometown.

And, no hedge, it wasn’t at the same time.
