Kidding aside, most insurances won't raise you for a single red light ticket. Speeding, especially at a "reckless" level? Probably. DUI? Definitely. One camera-caught red light? Nah.

Auto insurance companies audit their customer's driving record on average every 2 1/2 years (states charge insurance companies for DMV info and it adds up).
