IMNSHO, Trump's 3 Supreme Court picks being 3 of the 5 votes on this court to over-turn Roe-vs-Wade (which all that really does is turn the matter of abortion back over to the individual states where it belongs) would be almost equal to ending African slavery in the United States without firing a shot. Trump would be elevated from the 4th or 5th best POTUS in national history to number 2 (behind only Lincoln.)

Justices altering federal law to accommodate the amoral instincts of the feminist imperative, well, that is just The Beast telling us that we are free to be humanist first above Godly. That is just man eating the forbidden fruit that woman offers him. This particular bite from the forbidden fruit, has yielded 65,000,000+ unborn dead (including 19,000,000 black children.)

I'm not saying it a positive or negative, but this ruling was considered untouchable 2 years ago.

Barrett is the x-factor and given she has several adopted kids, you can imagine where she will go with her vote. Thomas asked where in the constitution is there a right to abortion, Sotomayor said we have to focus on past precedent otherwise SCOTUS will be seen as political - which is a laughable statement on her part, given that she has no problem overturning past precedent when it aligns with her political beliefs.

It will probably be pushed down to be a states right issue where people wanting abortions will need to travel to states that allow it.

Back when Trump was elected, many of us said that he was elected because of his ability to stack the supreme court. Some wanted to jump on the racist/xenophobic stuff and ignored that. Now we are seeing the results of it.

Abortion and Gun ownership rights are both up for review, topics that the Supremes would generally ignore in the past.

Absolutely ridiculous.

If he came to America supporting the domestic policies he supported in the UK throughout his career and two premierships, you and your ignorant ilk would be calling him a communist.

Socialists were the opposite of fascists IB. They basically believed in power to the people. Ya know, producers owning the means of production and such rather than an arbitrary 10% of the population which every other corrupt nation state in the history of mankind has done. Don't worry though. There's no more socialism in the US despite what the GOP propaganda tells you. Even though the Socialists helped save us in the Great Depression, the US gov't and elites decided they were too much of a threat to their hoarding of wealth. Next time we go down in a big crash it will probably be for good because we don't have any forces left of center that actually want to help people.

Fascists in Italy were socialists. Fascists in Germany were socialists. Nazis = Nationalist Socialist Party. They weren't globalist and capitalist (the way the slightest majority of Americans are, particularly the ones who don't give a damn if the low IQ US citizen dies on opiates), they were nationalist and socialist. That is well documented history. The Nazis wants massive government spending on industries within Germany to heat up the economy and get the nation out of economic ruin brought about by the Weimer Republic and the World War I reparations to France (a French nation that was starting to lean communist.) And they wanted the government to own everything, have everything run by the government, and welcomed bureaucracy. Moreover, they believed that the government could maximize the German taxpayer dollar the best for research and development. Autobahn was a socialist program. V-2 rockets, socialism. Extracting oil from coal, socialism. All of this was brought about by the Nazi party taking control of the government, taxing and spending.

Thatcher was from the UK. I can't see her or anyone who thought like her supporting large social welfare programs.

The difference between socialism and communism is religion. Communists are atheists. If you are Communist you MUST be atheist because religion is the opiate of the state. That is straight communist dogma. Socialists "might" be atheists but might not be. Either way, socialists and communists are both on the left (just one of further to the left than the other.)

Socialists only prolonged a Great Depression that should have ended for us in the early 1930s. We have FDR to thank for all that decade plus of economic ruin. WWII got us out of the Great Depression (for a few years) then in the late 40s, the economic shit hit the fan again when the women were sent home from their Rosie-the-Riverter jobs. It was the roaring production of consumer goods the mid 1950s where the American dream was achieved thanks to:

• high marriage rate
• high birth rate
• father knows best (and is obeyed)
• republicans (I like IKE)
• people buying small homes (not too much debt) and paying them off early
• and the United States was the only factory in the world

You missed some days in history class, IB. The socialists were one of the first groups the Nazis got rid of. I know it says it in their name. So does N Korea's say they're a republic.

Four things have brought absolute RUIN to the African-American community in this nation:

• low marriage rate and father absence (basically marriage no longer exists in the black community thanks to people like you DS)
• high illiteracy rate for black males
• extremely high abortion rate (more than 50% of all black babies in NYC are aborted)
• illegal immigration

It was Candice Owens who came up with this list. It is not in dispute. No one in the democrat party will touch any of these 4 issues because to discuss these issues means to alienate some significant percentage of the democrat base. We get rid of Roe-vs-Wade, maybe we can help with one of them?

No, I didn't miss anything. Hitler rose to power by preaching "class warfare", specifically those ruthless Jewish Capitalists who seemed to own everything and only making themselves richer. The workers of Germany got behind der Furher to get those nasty Jewish Capitalists. Nazis came to power, and they nationalized education, healthcare, and especially transportation. And you forget about owning a gun as a private citizen in Germany in 1938. Fascism is in part socialism, an outgrowth of the political left.

Trump came to power on the right. He never-EVER preached "class warfare." In fact, he did the opposite. He preached "Doncha wanna be rich like me? Well doncha?" He should have hired the Pussycat Dolls to sing his praises. That seemed to work. His was a pursuit of individualism, de-centralization, and populism.

People on the left just labeled Trump and Trump supports as fascists out of pure ignorance as a way to stop all forms of intelligent communication and thoughtful debate. Thats all. It was just a word used to shut down conversation because people on the left don't like to converse with the right. They just want to cancel the right. They just want Trump supporters to hurry up and die already.
