End of Men

https://www.nationalreview.com/2021/10/ ... term=first
Sullivan wrote:The relative obsolescence of men does create headline figures that some would welcome. Male and female employment rates do converge. And it should be noted that among the 10 percent of Americans most exposed to automation, the employment-to-population ratio is still higher for men than women. But the employment-to-population-rate disparity between men and women is a whopping 31.4 percent lower than it is among the 10 percent least exposed. There are other consolations from the new employment landscape: In collecting fewer paychecks, for instance, men are less likely to run up bar tabs and make their way into the driver’s seat. Per capita rates of drunk driving, a crime perpetrated by men 80 percent of the time, are 26.3 percent lower among those most exposed to automation. This suggests that the effects of automation may complicate the well-documented tendency of lower rates of employment to, historically, raise local rates of alcohol abuse and other substance abuse.

But this is no happy tale. When marriages are formed, they tend fall apart more frequently. Rates of divorce are 19.1 percent higher among the 10 percent most exposed to automation than among the 10 percent least exposed. Sex crimes, per capita, are a whopping 98 percent higher. Some crimes may grow less frequent, but crime as a whole does not. The per capita rate of crime overall among the most exposed is 65.7 percent higher.
Took my daughter down to Tucson yesterday. We spent the entire day roaming around the campus of the University of Arizona. (She has been accepted and has a full-ride scholarship, tuition only.) What I found striking is that I saw basically, just young women. That was it. Young women everywhere. The few young men that were there walking around, they were all gay.

What I hope is the case is that there are normal heterosexual males at the University of Arizona, but that they were all still sleeping all day Saturday after drinking all night Friday night.

OK, I just listened to a speech Biden just gave, flogging his general agenda. It was mostly boilerplate, obviously delivered to a receptive audience, but he spoke clearly and coherently for half an hour. There's no way on god's green earth this guy has dementia or Alzheimer's. I won't say he hasn't lost a step from his younger days, but what 80 year old person hasn't? Not many. But there's no way someone even in the early stages of dementia or Alzheimer's could give a coherent half hour speech of this nature (or any nature). The dude's just old, but he doesn't have Alzheimer's...

Those dementia rumors were shot down the day he spoke at the UN. The only ones who still use it are the retarded big lie idiots.

better evidence would be to listening to Biden 20 years ago

he was a bumbling fool back then too.

at least dementia would be a good excuse to cover his complete incompetence right now

Just be patient, another year or so and Harris can take over and be able to run for another 8 years after that.

My congressman on math and demographics....

Everyone says that they hate congress BUT that they like THEIR guy/lady. With that kind of thinking, nothing changes in congress. Well I am not going to say that David is the smartest congressman on Capitol Hill. But I would happily let him take an IQ test against every other rep on the Hill, and I would be surprised if he didn't score in the top 20%. Speeches like this cut through all the bullshit.

31% of Medicare spending is Type-II Diabetes. I mean FUCK! We are broke and in debt because our poor eat way too much cheap, plentiful, shitty food. And that is forcing our nation into receivership. Our poorest people are eating themselves to death and (sticking their healthcare bill to the government for decades) eating all of us in bankruptcy.

If you are going to carbo-load because its cheap and it tastes good, you better be working on a farm 12 hours a day to earn your living and not typing on a computer for 9 hours a day. And please, don't just eat cheap crap if all you do is smoke weed, play video games, and jerk off to HD porn all day in the basement.

Today's modern left defending cancel culture

The New York Times ran a report the other day on the canceling of University of Chicago geophysicist Dorian Abbot for his dissenting views on affirmative action. The paper quoted a Williams College geosciences professor, Phoebe A. Cohen, who supports Abbot’s shunning. She explained her dim view of academic freedom thusly:
Dr Phoebe A. Cohen wrote:“This idea of intellectual debate and rigor as the pinnacle of intellectualism comes from a world in which white men dominated.”
You see because logic and math, its just so damn.... patriarchal. :(

Shunning is fine.

Banning someone and (thereby) taking away their earning power (by preventing them from speaking or taking a job) because they are too smart, too logical, and too good a speaker with the power to influence people into thinking the way they do (a way that may NOT be politically correct and may NOT be the way you think) is NOT fine. This issue is not the shunning. The issue is money and livelihoods.

Hedge, when Deborah Messing led some kind of horseshit crusade in Hollyweird to make a blacklist of names of actors and actresses who supported Trump, to prevent them from getting future roles and acting parts in movies, it was the exact same thing as this PhD.

What Deborah was admitting here is the exact same thing this PhD Phoebe Cohen is admitting: I hate you people. I hate you people so much I want you to never work again, starve and die. I refuse to speak to you because (well) you are all smarter than me. You are too intelligent and too good with words. I can't out debate you. But in my heart I know that I am right and you are wrong and I want to take away all your authority. So I want society to put you on a list, everyone will know who you are what you believe, people will refuse to do business with you, and society will take away all your possible earning power so that you will go away and I never have to hear about you again.

The Nazi party did that shit to the "bad" Germans in the 1930s who refused to cast out or stop doing business with the German Jews.

LOL, did you even watch the video? The gals on the show were giving a pretty adamant condemnation of going after people b/c of who they voted for. You know, the exact opposite of "blacklisting"...

They went after Messing. Actually it was just Whoopie. One of them was okay with what Messing was trying to do until Whoopie started talking. Even someone in the audience was clapping at the very begging of the blacklisting attempt of Messing.

Yeah I watched it.

Dr Cohen is doing what Deborah Messing was trying to do (but failed.) She wants to shut down debate and discussion because she doesn't like "logic" and she is okay with people being cancelled simply because what they say is "logical." She wants them to not make money because she hates people who can logically disagree with her. That makes Cohen no better than Messing. They are both trying to accomplish the same thing, destroy people they disagree with without trying to reason with them.

:)

Don't be a good German hedge. Be a bad German. Shunning is fine. Cancelling, is not.
