well to be fair, two men in a monogamous relationship weren't going to get AIDS no matter how much anal sex they had, but yes, due to the nature of the act, it was more likely to have the virus enter the blood stream than vaginal, and IIRC, women were more likely to get it from men, than to give it to them.

HIV is spread blood-to-blood or semen-to-blood. For a man to get it from a woman, he has to fuck her in the ass (and she bleeds a little) and the blood somehow makes its way up his penis (highly unlikely.) Or, he fucks her vaginally while she is having her period and the blood travels the same journey (once again, highly unlikely.) If you ask Magic Johnson, he still claims this is the only way he could have been infected with HIV. Condom protects in both cases.

If Fauci was a true scientist instead of a propaganda machine, if the CDC had a history of not backtracking on their pubic information releases ,the FDA was more resolute in their accountability to vaccine makers and the media didn't sensationalize medicine like ivertmectin as "horse parasite medicine" then the public would most likely be more on board with the favorable response to taking the vaccine.

Trump might have helped cut some red tape and provided funding to speed things up, but you fail to mention (1) that mRNA vaccines (for other medical issues) were already being used and that mRNA vaccine research has been ongoing for roughly twenty years and (2) that coronaviruses have been researched constantly (hello Wuhan Lab) for nearly twenty years. It's not like the companies were starting from scratch. Furthermore, Trump's cast of idiots paid little to no attention to roll out and distribution. Those issues were happening from day one and were the result of actions / inaction that occurred long before Biden took office.
