Katie Couric was alot more likable when she was the perky little Today show host showing off those cheerleader gams of hers.

Lara Logan is an interesting study.

She is South African and went to work for CBS. She was sexually assaulted - brutally by Egyptians while covering their revolution

A couple of years after that, she reported on the Benghazi attack and was criticized for not properly vetting an interview, was suspended and eventually left CBS while criticizing America for downplaying the threat from Al Qaeda.

After that she accused the media of having too much of a liberal bias and eventually ended up at Sinclair, and then Fox.

She was a liberal media darling before her sexual assault by more than 100 men, and after that she saw the world differently, and ultimately ended up at Fox. She has had some mis-steps since joining Fox and not surprisingly she married a defense contractor from Texas just prior to her conversion.

I'm sure what happened to her country during that time played a role in her conversion as well.

Yes, that was entertaining watching Couric prove that Ann Coulter is a liar and also watching her try to weasel out of it...

https://news.yahoo.com/rep-jim-jordan-a ... ed8kFHDXYa
Why? Because he is man enough to put malignant leftists (who seek power) against intelligent questions.

There is ZERO CHANCE any democrat would ask these kinds of questions. She was about ready to cry. It was like no man has EVER spoken to her this way. And she just wants power without ANY accountability for her decision making.

It makes no difference. These things are dog and pony shows. She should have just said
what the Dr was thinking wrote:Fuck you Jim Jordan with your mansplaining. I refuse to answer your questions. There are 50 mind numbingly dumb votes in the Senate for me and simply because of politics I will get the job, I will get the power, you can't stop me, so you can fuck yourself, ha ha
and then not answer a question. Because that is exactly what she was thinking. And then at least she would be acting honestly. That way she wouldn't be giving us those bullshit answers.

So little faggot Gym Jordan spent 5 minutes haranguing some timid public health functionary into agreeing that elected officials get to make the ultimate decision about what is and what is not an emergency situation, in a hearing in which him and Jim Clyburn were the only other people in the room. Wow, what a man he is. I surprised he didn't beat his chest...

Its not about being a man. Its about politics. He and Jim were the only people in the room because sometimes when democrats know that the Republican Senators are going to ask their democrat appointments tough questions (questions they would never ask because they do not want to embarrass their appointed people), they get up and walk out of the room. Jim would have behaved this way with the room filled with people.

WASHINGTON — Hours before he was scheduled to retire in 2018, Andrew G. McCabe, then the F.B.I.’s deputy director, was fired by the Justice Department, depriving him of his pension and prompting cheers from President Donald J. Trump, who had been hounding him over his role in the Russia investigation.

On Thursday, the department reversed Mr. McCabe’s firing, settling a lawsuit he filed asserting that he was dismissed for political reasons. Under the settlement, Mr. McCabe, 53, will be able to officially retire, receive his pension and other benefits, and get about $200,000 in missed pension payments.

In addition, the department agreed to expunge any mention of his firing from F.B.I. personnel records. The agreement even made clear that he would receive the cuff links given to senior executives and a plaque with his mounted F.B.I. credentials and badge.

The Justice Department did not admit any wrongdoing. But the settlement amounted to a rejection by the Biden administration of how Mr. McCabe’s case had been handled under Mr. Trump, who perceived Mr. McCabe as one of his so-called deep-state enemies and repeatedly attacked him. A notice of the lawsuit’s dismissal was also filed in federal court.

“Politics should never play a role in the fair administration of justice and Civil Service personnel decisions,” Mr. McCabe said in a statement. “I hope that this result encourages the men and women of the F.B.I. to continue to protect the American people by standing up for the truth and doing their jobs without fear of political retaliation.”

Mr. McCabe thanked his lawyers at the firm of Arnold & Porter, who will receive more than $500,000 in legal fees paid by the government. The firm intends to donate the money to its foundation, which provides scholarships to minority law students, among other things.

Well, if someone sexually assaults IB and forces IB to suck a cock, we know Jordan won't report it.

even if the amount reported to the IRS goes from $600 to $10K, every Americans banking information will still be reported to the IRS. Every adult American will have transactions totaling $10K in their bank account.

The reasoning is simple - $3.5 trillion spending bill, $1 trillion infrastructure bill plus 4 entitlement programs either created or enhanced. Biden is going after every American to increase their tax contributions, and if he can't do it by a tax increase, he is going to do it by looking at their balance sheet on income.

I am at a loss as to why anyone isn't outraged at this, but I was also at a loss as to why people weren't outraged at Obamacare. Create a system that discourages high quality health care for middle class as a perk and replace it with catastrophic plans - which all clearly favors insurance companies - under the guise of helping a few million impoverished individuals...and they get the same shitty catastrophic plan, except their deductibles and premiums are subsidized.

Biden is trying to tell you that the wealthy are going to pay for his spending - its financially impossible for this to happen, which is why Joe Manchin is balking. Social Security and Medicare are already running out of money, so how can anyone justify more entitlements?

The middle class is going to foot the bill for this and progressive morons are going to tell everyone that will listen that Biden is going after Jeff Bezos, and if you aren't uber wealthy making $400k Biden is going to put money in your pocket just like Obama promised a $2500 average health care savings and keep your doctor.

Just basic lack of understanding of simple math.

I bet you're going to start hearing about some variation of a VAT or even a carbon footprint tax, something that progressives will get behind as a great idea to save the earth when its really going to cover the cost of Bidens spending plans.

Get ready to pay sharply higher bills for heating this winter, along with seemingly everything else.

With prices surging worldwide for heating oil, natural gas and other fuels, the US government said Wednesday it expects households to see their heating bills jump as much as 54% compared with last winter.

Nearly half the homes in the US use natural gas for heat, and they could pay an average $746 this winter, 30% more than a year ago.

Those in the midwest could get particularly pinched, with bills up an estimated 49%, and this could be the most expensive winter for natural gas heated homes since 2008-2009.

The second-most used heating source for homes is electricity, making up 41% of the country, and those households could see a more modest 6% increase to $1,268.

Homes using heating oil, which make up 4% of the country, could see a 43% increase – more than $500 – to $1,734.

The sharpest increases will probably be for homes that use propane, which account for 5% of US households.

This winter is forecast to be slightly colder across the country than last year.

The forecast from the US Energy Information Administration is the latest reminder of the higher inflation ripping across the global economy.

Earlier Wednesday, the government released a separate report showing that prices were 5.4% higher for US consumers in September than a year ago.

That matches the hottest inflation rate since 2008, as a reawakening economy and snarled supply chains push up prices for everything from cars to groceries
