Schools that didn't get Stokes will be glad they didn't...

Ok, I guess I will stand out here on this island by myself then. Seems like the NCAA would have some interest in this story but guess not.

They would have interest, I'm sure, but they have no subpoena power. It would be like me demanding to see your tax information. The NCAA's power is given to them by a group of university presidents; they have no juice with a journalist (or a private citizen for that matter).

They will request the items, but if you don't turn them over--which you are well within your rights to do--they claim that it will be held against you. Anyone dealing with the NCAA needs to have an attorney and/or compliance officer well versed in dealing with those scum bags with them at all times.

Also, keep your players off of Twitter and Facebook...I hear that it can lead to horrible consequences...

"Ok, I guess I will stand out here on this island by myself then."

No man is an island. In BRM's case, it's b/c he's a continent...

"Anyone dealing with the NCAA needs to have an attorney and/or compliance officer well versed in dealing with those scum bags with them at all times."

Got anybody in particular in mind?

OK, I'll try again:

"Ok, I guess I will stand out here on this island by myself then."

For the sake of the other inhabitants, I hope the island you plan to occupy is Australia...

I know what you're thinking. You'd rather go to that island that was in The Blue Lagoon and fuck Brook Shields, the thought of which you jacked off to when you were a kid and still do to this day. But I'm glad you didn't say it...

Bama won @Georgia tonight, 74-59, to go to 12-3 on the year.

We did last year, too. Had the best defense in the conference statistically. You know what that got us? A super nifty NIT bid.

Yeah, because he quit coaching and he quit recruiting. He could be great, but was too lazy to be worth a damn.

Well, his wife getting into a public spat with Finebaum didn't help, and I'm sure the rumors about him banging coeds wasn't a positive....
