I'm in Detroit fairly often. I get in and get out. Not my kinda town. I do like Roast, though.

I am back! (because I need advice! I KNOW I can get this from some of you!) A friend is coming out from London and is starting is Las Vegas, needs a reasonable Hotel. not a fleapit but not one of the big ones. Last time I was in Las Vegas was eons ago and I got married!!! swore I would never go back unless for the divorce! still hanging for that! With Tahoe and Reno so close and a casino 10 minutes away I have better places to go so cant help him. Would appreciate words of wisdom from you who love the place.

Expedia usually has good airline hotel combinations. I got airfare and two nights at the Bellagio for $475.

Why not one of the big ones? Love Caesar's, Aria, and the Venetian. Can usually get them reasonably, too.

The long overdue death of Abe Vigoda made me search for my old Death Pool site. I really enjoyed this.

The amount of research it must have taken to pick some of those random people...

(Well done on Benazhir Bhutto, though. Looking back, it should have been easy to predict)

I think about that dead pool list every time someone well known dies

I really loved all the emails that would fly around after each death. But, that thing took so much time to run. I almost got an intern from DePaul the last year. I posted it as a web development job but it didn't past muster after I talked to the career people at the school. I couldn't bullshit enough to get them on board.

That's like something they would try to do on The Office, which, by the way, I've watched all 9 seasons over the last 3 weeks on Netflix and have just the series finale to watch tonight. I never watched it when it was on prime time.
