Apex, N.C. — Apex police are searching for a University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill student who's been charged in a bank robbery.

Gordon Miller Goodwin, 22, was named as a suspect Wednesday in the robbery of a Sun Trust bank inside a Kroger grocery store at 940 U.S. Highway 64 on Monday. He faces a charge of common-law robbery.

Police said that a man entered the bank around 6:20 p.m. and handed the teller a note demanding money.

Goodwin is described as white, with brown hair. He might be driving a 2002 black Chrysler Sebring with N.C. license plate AHN9349.

Anyone with information on Goodwin's whereabouts is asked to contact the nearest law enforcement agency.

if Bitch wants to clear his name all he has to do is release the 216 records, explain who paid the parking tickets for his players, disclose his payment records to Jenifer Wiley, explain why a freshman that hasnt had remedial english is taking a senior level foreign language, explain how a athlete that couldnt get into Clemson or any SEC school is matriculating successfully at a public ivy, explain how not knowing his star players were flying all over the country and receiving illegal benefits is anything less than gross negligence....

hell unc has already said they fired him without cause and will pay him 2.7 mil. he needs to stfu.

I think that's the sort of job Malzahn would want, but I doubt he'd take it without knowing what scholarship limitations, if any, UNC is going to be facing. I'd expect Malzahn would draw some interest from Big XII schools-- Kansas, possibly, or maybe even Texas Tech if the Red Raiders get wiped out against Missouri and Baylor.

there's several schools out there that a rising coach would be better off at than Cheater Hill. otoh, UNc has a pretty good nucleus of players and will do everything in it's power (which is considerable) to mitigate the impact of sanctions. if he can weather a couple of lean years he might come out the other side with a potential miracle worker rep.

with this being regarded as one of the biggest scandals in NCAA history, it could set this Tar Heels program back a decade.

In fact no head coach in their sane mind would go take over the North Carolina program right now; especially one as good as Malzahn.
