PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Will Wade is telling the truth when he says he doesn’t need to lie. That’s why he says this. All of this. Out loud. Right here in this hallway.

A few will maybe stay at McNeese, where the program will try to reload its roster and keep a good thing going under a new coach.

On the outside, no one seems totally sure how to process any of this — the overt, unabashed truth-telling. It’s not normal. Future NC State coach Will Wade bears a striking resemblance to current McNeese head coach Will Wade and the provincialism of college sports makes such a reality feel like an affront to long-held traditions of secrecy and superficial grandstanding. How can you have a dog and pony show if everything is out in the open?

Since Carolina won the National Championship in 2017...

1. Overall record is 188-93
2. That's a rounded off average of 24-12 (signficantly lower than our .737 all time winning percentage)
3. In those 8 seasons, the Heels have missed the tournament twice (I'm counting 2020, as we were a woeful 14-19) and nearly a third time this year
4. The Heels have finished with double digit losses in 6 of those 8 seasons
5. In those six NCAA Tournaments, there have been two opening round losses, one second round loss, two round of 16 losses, and one blown National Championship Game after selling our souls to kill coach k*rzyatan
6. We have not won the ACC Tournament since 2016
7. We have not won a tournament of any kind (not even an in-season MTE) since the 2017 National Title
8. Hubert has lived off of portal guys moreso than his recruits. Carolina used to own the McDonald's All American roster. Now when we get one, there are obvious flaws in their games (rarely one and done elites)
9. NC State just fired the coach who led them to their first ACC Tournament title in 37 years and first Final Four in 41 years. Their coach beat Carolina and dook (twice) to accomplish those feats. Yet, he's gone just a year later.
10. The University of North Carolina has given Hubert Davis significant raise and a contract extension, though he's fought modernization at every turn. He didn't want a GM (the women's program has had one for 4 years). He made the declaration that "Carolina is not a transactional program." And then he cried about lack of NIL to buy elite ballers.

Well, Hubert has a GM now (a Carolina Alum, of course...Fambly incestuous hirings are what retarded our Program). And the boosters outbid Kentucky for a top 10 recruit (Caleb Wilson). It's put up or shut up time, motherfucker! I get pissed off whenever they show Roy Williams' ass on TV for forcing this imbecilic hiring and continually protecting his chosen one.
