Even the MIF can "get" something like Sharknado, but I remember sitting in the theater watching the trailer for Abe Lincoln, Vampire Killer, and she was confused and angry. Her mind couldn't grasp that juxtaposition...

I took my wife to see "This is the End" last night.

Normally she'd trash a movie like that but she laughed throughout the movie. Michael Cera is hilarious in it, but the guy that saves the movie is Danny McBride, basically playing Kenny Powers as his real life persona. He and James Franco get into a shouting match over ruining a penthouse magazine because he jizzed on it. It goes on for like 5 minutes in the movie and its great.

really good documentary on HBO called the Crash Reels about Kevin Pearce. Its really about life after the X-Games when these guys blow themselves up and face what life is like when they can't do it anymore.
