Mickey Callaway's decision to unload Jason "trojan horse" Vargas on the unsuspecting Phillies at exactly the right time almost helped propel him from chopping block to skipper of the year. And he would have gotten away with it too (maybe) if it wasn't for that meddling Jeff McNeil injury.
