"Justified. Because we ALL know North Carolina fans NEVER whine about the stripes."
I'd say I bitch about as much (in general) about the refs in Carolina hoops games as you do in Bama football games, i.e., not much. I may note a call here and there that I thought was wrong, but I hardly go on and on about it, certainly not in any thematic way. Goldie, I'll concede, but he's hardly the typical Carolina fan. Hell, he's hardly the typical anything...

so I forget about UK playing ARK - Little Rock at 7 - check the halftime score and AR-LR is leading 30-27 at the half.
talk about uninspired play
I'm beginning to think Teague doesn't want to be here.

I never complain about officiating in Bama games. I am biased and I realize it so I know it colors my perception. Besides, it never does any good. It doesn't change the outcome and it doesn't make me feel better about a loss. It's a fool's errand. Folly.
But goldenbrae is the epitome of a UNC fan. And he does it.
Now fuck off "mighty" hedgehog </Talent>

in the second half, AR-LR has scored 4 points so far while UK has scored 24. AR-LR has scored 1 field goal in 12 minutes of play.
Still , UK has regressed a bit as a team lately.

Alabama beat GaTech tonight by a score of 73-48 to improve to 11-3 on the year. They don't have a very good team, but they have a name. So, maybe it will help at tourney time.

So old, so nauseating. Any fan of any major program that uses this excuse is weak. Kentucky, UNC, Duke, Kansas all get the benefit of the doubt on calls relative to other teams at times (that's not an exclusive list, either)
you need to brush up on your reading skills...we were the winning team, dumbass, so i wasn't making an excuse. i never commented on the job the refs did, much less paint them as favoring the other team over ours. what i said is that louisville fouls on every play. they're the hackingest team in the country. they mired the game purposefully to maximize their chances of avoiding a blowout, not getting the win. the refs are basically held hostage against them because pitino's gambling that there's no way the refs will (or even CAN) call them all. and he's right....when you're fouling at multiple positions on the floor simultaneously something's going to get missed
like i said previously, i'd as soon drop them and add a team like maybe ohio state to the schedule

LOL. You swear that Louisville fouls on every play and then you repeat it in the responding post and that's not whining?? You have just proven how great a dumbass you really are. Whining has nothing to do with whether you win the game or not. It's about being blind to reality.

"when you're fouling at multiple positions on the floor simultaneously something's going to get missed"
That's about the dumbest "logic" I've ever heard, even from a UK fan. If you're fouling at multiple positions on the floor simultaneously, something is bound to get called (not missed) on at least one of the incidences. Why complain about that? It's part of the game, if the other team wants to foul you on every possession, it gives you the opportunity to shoot free throws the whole game. Granted, you have to shoot 80% from the ft line to equate to 40% (not counting 3's) from the field, but you get the added bonus of fouling out players on the other team. Basically UK fans whine about the refs whether they win or not and irregardless of whether they shoot far more ft's (which is almost always) than the other team or not. Same as some Carolina fans, same as some Dook fans, same as some... well fuck, same as fans of every fucking school I've ever heard of. Complaining about the refs is stupid. And complaining about fans who complain about the refs is stupid. I've done both. I guess I'm stupid...

Ummm..... tOSU was 19/26 from the line. IU was 15/22 from the line. As a team tOSU had 70 fouls. IU had 74 fouls. tOSU got out 7 more rebounds than IU.
Home cooking????

I'm pretty sure there weren't 144 fouls called in that game.

Yeah, 70 fouls on one team would be 14 players with 5 fouls each.

Big Red...OSU was up 10 early on...then the refs started their handy work and neutered our three best scorers...they had to sit most of the rest of the first half...hell Thomas only had 21 minutes total. Even the ESPN announcers were amazed. When our bench came in, that's when the refs actually went both ways. Anyway, we will see in a few days.
