Again Owl, it's not clear from the article you linked that he cut any taxes. He decreased witholding, but that's not a tax cut thats a decrease in witholding. The amount witheld and the amount of taxes owed are two completely different things.

Also it isn't clear if this was a continuation of the thing that Bush started just done by decreasing witholding instead of giving a kickback check at the end of the year. If it is you can't call that a cut because it's the same as before.

I haven't seen any evidence of him cutting taxes yet, and I read the entire article you linked.

So how long will it be before tOSU actually beats an SEC team in a bowl game? What does that make them now 0-12?

Owlman, gun rights did NOT increase. Firm believer in them. There is a reason people don't have a lot of break-ins out in rural areas... the home owners have guns too. And use them.

The reason there aren't alot of break-ins in rural areas is because there aren't alot of people in rural areas.

Nope, incorrect. That may be true if you are talking total number, but it's not true when you are taling "per 100000" etc. The statistics show that every time gun control has increased and guns are made more difficult to obtain the rate of violent crime increased as well.

Every time guns were less regulated and easier to obtain violent crime decreased.

One of the most marked cases was in Florida, where carjackings were extremely high. They allowed concealed carry and after a couple of perps got their heads blown off the carjackings significantly decreased.

Easy access of law abiding citizens to guns has been proven to make citizens safer.

They also like to take guns. They bring big money when compared to the other stuff. Plus, they can always find people to buy them for cash with no records.

Talent told me people from the "Cincitucky" area were ignorant of most facts, but I didn't believe him.

Puter, I am going to try and get away to the game Saturday. You know anyone that has tickets? Have you decided where you are going to tailgate this year?

I haven't been to a game since the 90's, I think I can get away this weekend.

Whenever I visit my acreage in rural Georgia alone, I always bring a pistol. Meth-heads love to operate on remote land that is unattended for months at a time.

Whenever I make meth on remote acreage in rural Georgia, I always bring a shotgun. You never know when some absentee land owner will get a bug up his ass to go look at some fucking trees.

If you're on my land, you'd better be REALLY good with that shotgun, because you won't get a second chance.

You probably don't even know where the safety on your .410 is. And birdshot won't cut it either.

Still way too many carjackings in Florida. I mean from a "crime" stand-point Florida carjacking is way too easy pickings. Just hang out at any rest stop on I-95, wait for the mini-van/Yukon/Escalade with the New York/New Jersey/Massachusetts plates to pull in with the man, the woman, and the two or three kids, and carjack them. They are tourists. They are going to have over $1000 in cash, they just want to get out of it alive, and they wont be armed, not if they are living in the Northeast.

Plus, if they are from one of the northeastern cities, they are used to being robbed.
