Grover NC is right on the state line just off exit 106 in SC. Used to be the last stop for fireworks and computer gambling before you got into NC

The numbers are the numbers. 14% of all people who are getting covid today, 14%, they were vaccinated. So one-out-of-seven of all people getting covid now, they were previously vaccinated. I have no idea if any of the people who died recently were vaccinated or not. I don't have those numbers. I don't know if they are tracking that.
As far as the number of people who are getting covid now who had it BEFORE, I think that is ZERO. I have been googling around to see if there are any recorded cases of people who tested positive for covid-19 a year ago who got the delta variant this time around and I think that is probably zero. Perhaps our various CDCs are not tracking that information. And even if they were, its likely to be questionable information if the CDC worker isn't looking at two distinct positive covid-19 tests. Alot of this is just word of mouth.
Yep. All three people in our office who have been re-infected were unvaccinated, had multiple negative tests after their first infection and are now out with the re-infection.

Not that hard
Oh I never said don't get vaccinated, never. I'm just not buying what people are selling about getting covid twice.

Half of texags has been posting “whats the false flag domestic terror event goaded by the FBI to distract from Afghanistan gonna be” over the past 4 days and now this nutjob with a bomb at the Capitol or whatever actually does show up.
That'll work in the US but not overseas where the refugees pouring out of Afghanistan will be headed. Oops we did it again.

one silver lining to the number of people that aren't vaccinated is that with the oncoming Lambda variant, they'll keep it from becoming more resistant to the vaccines.
From an article regarding the increase in cases in Louisiana , 30% of who are now vaccinated....
Right now in our country, given how many people are unvaccinated, there’s a little bit less pressure actually on the virus to become resistant to the vaccines because there’s plenty of easy pickings of people who are not vaccinated,” Wohl explained.
“Maybe that’s kind of a silver lining. That it prevents us from getting infected — and this is all theoretical — with a variant that could be worse,” he said.

and you just got back from Costa Rica?
my return to the office was short lived. It lasted about 2 months and they mandated masks again. We were at about 60 people or so in the office back in July. Now its down to maybe 8.
now I'm questioning if I ever go back into the office

We were basically quarantined in Costa Rica. Well, except for at Planet Hollywood, that was a nightmare. But we were outside most of the time. Plus I take a massive dose of vitamin D daily, that's the real key to avoiding all kinds of viral infections, covid or otherwise. We got a negative test before we came back (mandated). My real worry is that corn harvest is fixin to start, I've been sitting around here for the last 9 months basically alone in my office and then home and on the couch, so basically completely quarantined, but now we're going to have dozens of people in and out of the office all day for the next 5 or 6 weeks and I'm sure 75% of them are unvaccinated, so I responded to my changing circumstances. FWIW, the MIF is completely anti-vax, as are most of the nurses she works with at the health department. None of them have gotten the vaccine and they're around the highest risk population all day, every day, but they do wear N95 masks all day, which should tell you something...
