My great grandfather was a bluegrass player

He won a fiddle contest and the prize was a Stradivarius violin. When I heard that story was I was like - why the fuck don't we have serious money right now?

but apparently there are different levels of Stradivarius violins, especially in the early 20th century America. Kind of like John Deere mowers sold at Home Depot.
