I have no "self-proclaimed rule" - post what you wish. But if it's dreck, don't be surprised when I call you on it. On the other hand, I do find it funny that you appear to spend more time here posting on Bama than you do on the Auburn thread posting on the Tigers.

And the follow-ups are more on my response.

You mean aTm's brilliant musing was referring to you?

Busier than ever... Remember about 2 years ago when I posted I'd been promoted to QC supervisor? Well a year later (almost to the day) I was promoted to QC manager.

The raise was nice... the hours with it are a good reason why...

Congrats. As someone who has always worked a ton of hours, I feel your pain.

GBJ, you haven't been working on any Malaysian airline planes recently, have you?

Rat - true

Prof - No (thank Goodness)

AA - It seems as if I don't even have time to turn around.

We've really grown over the last few years... Not just working the FedEx lines, we also have 5 Delta lines and there are currently 8 Southwest aircraft in the facility. A little irony... The Southwest / AirTran merger brought B717's into the Southwest company. They have ALWAYS flown the 737. Perhaps newer and older models, but they were 737's. Well, Delta leased all of SWA's 717s... We're doing the maintenance checks and interior modifications to change a AirTran livery 717 which is flying under the SWA umbrella into a Delta livery and interior. Us and AAR in Indy will do 44 each and that will last through the fall of 2015. There is expectations to see the same aircraft we did the mod to come in for a heavy check before we finish all of the mods.

Business is good. Sometimes it seems I had more time off in Naval Aviation than I do in civilian aviation but business is what pays the bills.

GBJ, it's not too late to turn yourself in. You might just get caned.

Prof, i wouldn't have to turn myself in... there would have already been a knock on the door from the FAA... as in FEDERAL Aviation Administration.

The Feds wouldn't knock on your door for several years. It takes that much time to process the paperwork. We are the same government that brought you the Obamacare website.

Nope. Not even close. Ask the folks who were questioned about the oxygen canisters.

You'd be amazed how long it can take to find a mistake, or how quickly you are being asked for a statement...

The NonConference

West Virginia (Atlanta) (4-8)
Florida Atlantic (6-6)
Southern Miss (1-11)
Western Carolina (2-10)

Alabama's OOC is pretty weak for the upcoming year, though I would wager that West Virginia will be improved. If not then this schedule will look extremely weak compared with Alabama's peers in the SEC.

The question is will SoMiss be improved. Two seasons ago they were fresh off their 10th-straight bowl game. The last two years have been rough: just one win. I am friends with the father of one of the QBs and would like to see them do well.
