the week in Florida was work related - I was just able to bring family.

This is actually the only vacation I have had this year. Had to cut it short because my wife got a job interview

not sure how much I related from the Florida trip

I have to work so back when we were planning this thing I tell the wife she can tag along and enjoy the hotel on the beach while I'm doing the work thing, she just needs to understand I am "on" all week and she'll be on her own, so she asks me if her sister can come and I'm OK with that. So then she asks can some friends come along and get a separate room at the same rate we're getting from the hotel.

so I'm fine with that - the trip comes around and we get started. We finally make it down to the hotel and they've set me up kinda nice and I have a bar in my room which is good because we brought a liquor cabinet with us, along with a blender and mixers

Anyways, the first night, her and her group go out - her, her sister, her friend, and her friends daughter who just happens to be the same age as the sister. They proceed to get hammered, and I'm already in for the night by the time they get to the room and I closed down the lobby bar. The room I had - had a bedroom and a living space and a little corner area with a single bed. I told them I'd take the single bed since I would be coming and going at all hours and didn't want to disturb them in the morning so I was in the single. Sorry for the big buildup - nothing really happened other than them being loud and clumsy.

But the next day I come back to the room and the daughter is laying outside my door so hungover she can barely move and no one is answering my door so I let her in. My wife and her sister were out cold in the bedroom.

The following night, the 3 of them decide to go out with the mother saying she can't hang 2 nights in a row. So they go out and the 3 of them get hammered again, except the daughter goes off the deep end - and in a single night gets 2 tattoos and her nose pierced - about gets raped by her uber driver and pretty much pisses herself in some dressing room, and she ends up kissing my wife on the mouth. So the next morning the mom wakes up, sees her daughter with two tats and her nose pierced - so hungover she just lays there and can't remember any of it, packs their shit up and leaves - drives from Fort Lauderdale to Cinci and en route tells my wife they have bolted after they had already pre-paid for this shark dive excursion thing the following day. So my wife got to go shark diving which was cool I guess.

speaking of ending badly, the daughter is married to a guy whose family owns a bunch of cabins on some lake in Canada - like no electricity, everything is propane powered kinda thing with sailboats, canoes, etc. You can only get there by boat and so my wife is pushing me to take her and the kids , along with 3 other couples including wild thing up there for a week next summer.

I'm trying to decide if I want to do it. You're supposed to bring enough food to cook for the entire group for one day, and then 1 day out of the week, the boat gets you and brings you to civilization - whatever passes for that in bumfuck Canada. They expect you to tote a cooler full of food and dry ice from where you start to the boat.

we'll probably do it -two weeks from now I get a "tryout" where the couples meet me (my wife already hangs out with them obviously but I have been reluctant to participate in their wine tasting and bourbon tours) over dinner and they decide whether I'm too much of an ass to hang out with for a week in isolation.

If it was just me and the fambly, I'd be excited at the idea of being remote like that for a week. But not with people I barely know who are prone to get tattoos and leave in the middle of the night.

For some reason, I'm seeing you getting involved in 3-way during that trip and your son walking in on you and you, like Will Ferrell, saying "let the boy watch"...

I am not attracted to this woman at all

I'm still attracted to my wife's best friend but my wife told me what transpired recently which makes it a long shot

Shortly after our weekend together in New Orleans, the wife's best friend took up swinging with her husband (who was her boyfriend when we were together last) and was trying to convince my wife that it was something we (my wife and I )should do getting into the graphic details with her of what happened (her going down on the guys wife while the husband did her doggy style). I guess they were so excited at the idea of doing it with us that they just decided that complete strangers would have to do.

My wife was telling me that her friend was telling her as if she was seeking approval and by convincing my wife to do it, validated their decision to start swinging.

Anyways, my wife is put off at the idea getting with her friend who now has a different dick in her every other weekend and doesn't want to pursue it.

I admit my dick still gets a little twitchy thinking about it but pushing it is the wrong move here so I just have to bide my time and hope the moment prevails. I'm already at the point where the wife is ok "sharing" me with one of her friends without another man reciprocating, but obviously I can't just start listing off her friends and expect her to set up a fuck session. I don't think there is a big market for fucking 50 year old bald men as far as her friends are concerned anyways and the moment I present it where I'm more interested in having sex with another woman that a mutual experience that focuses on my wife, the game is over.

so my window of opportunity, however brief , appears to be forever closed on that front - unless someone else comes along - and it will not be wild thing.

after that I guess the look on my face told my wife it was time to move on to another topic.

One weird thing about this is since this has happened, the husband of the wife's friend has gone completely blind - like red tipped cane, seeing eye dog blind.

A woman who has always been kinda flirty with me at work recently left the company and she didn't really leave on good terms, but now has decided she fucked up and wants to come back to work.

I am about the only person she can talk to that has any pull in getting her back (or at least she thinks that).

don't think for a second I haven't envisioned how I could use that to my advantage in a quid pro quo

but alas, I want to keep my job and my marriage in tact.
