when the NIL came out, the biggest fear would be that players demanding NBA level salaries.

Correct me if I am wrong but I don't believe that ANY of the NILs are actually directly affiliated with the universities. I don't think they can be. If the university has any control over the NIL and where the money goes, then the NIL money (by federal law) would be equally distributed to all scholarship athletes via Title-IX legislation. So I think, they are just all independent of the schools, totally decentralized, and run by big money alumni.

Yet another subject you think you're an expert in but in reality don't know a goddamn thing about...

No I am a novice in Name-Image-and-Likeness. It hasn't been around long enough for anyone, anywhere, to be an expert in it. And more to the point, I asked a question, you never answered it. You just gave me a pointless hard time.

so the new womens coach at UK is hired and has brought in 3 very good players in the course of a week
The UL men's coach has brought in 3 very good players in the course of a week
what do they have in common? They are all players from the school they left.
god damn - don't act like these two guys are setting the world on fire. They've upgraded their place and are bringing in kids to the better program
I mean that's a helluva lot better than nothing -and its gives the fans optimism for the following year but it that will buy you 2 years tops

State pretty rattled for a bit but settled down. Should be able to put a good run together with theees and Burns hitting in the post.

I guess I'm for Purdue. A kid from my HS signed to play there next year.

I can't really say I was pulling for State, but I don't think it would've bothered me too much if they had won. But when it became apparent they weren't going to win, I was pleased...

Bama played better than I thought. UConne broke them down I’m the second half, but at least it wasn’t a blowout.
