Thanks, Dave.
Alabama's defense has been making every offense they've played look bad this year. #1 in total D, pass D, rush D, scoring D. We held LSU to 220 yards or so in the first game and most of that was because we couldn't stop their option with consitancy. This game LSU ran the option 8 times and got 2 yards from it. Obviously, adjustments were made.

Alabama has now won 48 games in the last 4 years. An average of 12 wins per year. Throw on the two NCs with that and it's nice. Very nice.

The Alabama defense has given up only 9 TDs this year.

No reason Saban can't keep coaching into his 80s. JoePa and Bowden proved that you could still have suc.... oh, never mind.
Saban has three titles. AA is has already blocked out the LSU years.

Mook,
I know how many titles Saban has. That's why I specifically said 2 in 5 years (his tenure at Alabama). The context of my discussion with hedge was Saban surplanting (or equaling) Bryant. Paul Bryant was an Alabama coach.

I know this. I was having a go. Just like the suggestion that he coach into his late 80s.

lmao at Hedge and AA semi-fretting the shutout. that LSU qb was god-awful but Bama's D was pretty damn good. they might have slapped the Colts around tonight.
my headline for tomorrow reads: 2 is better than 1

I realize he and his family has had a rough couple of years, but as much as I sympathize with them on a personal level, Krags has no place in major college football after what he did to Louisville.
Hizzy III wrote:This is the worst offensive performance in a BCS game ever. I've never seen a team so ill-prepared to play football as was LSU's offense. #72 might have been paid off, he was so bad. I realize that Kragthorpe has health issues, but he can't come back as your coordinator. The play calling, the preparedness, the gameplan, was the worst I've seen since Nebraska sat up there and got shutout by Miami in the Orange Bowl some years ago.

* Bama never trailed for a second of clock time after the 1st quarter all season. Only LSU on Nov. 5 was within single digits in the 4th qtr.
* In total defense, the gap of 77.9 ypg between No. 1 (ALA: 183.6) and No. 2 (LSU: 261.5) is the largest in FBS history
* NCAA has kept stats since 1937. Alabama is the 2nd team to finish 1st in rushing, passing & scoring defense ('86 OKLA)

I laughed out loud when Musberger lauded Richardson for helping raise his children that he started having in high school. Is the bar that fucking low now? We're praising some kid for doing what he should do?

someone posted that honey badger clip over at KSR.
There is something funny about a gay guy describing the viciousness of nature.

I think y'all are both morons for listening to anything Musberger says. Trent's parents have helped and the girls parents have helped - both of sets of parents are what could be described as middle or lower middle class.
But I do dig the Bob Jones guy hating on black people. Seems kinda fitting. With DS, it's what you expect from a 2.64 gpa undergrad, South Carolina grad.

Fuck off. I'm not hating on black people. I am hating on Brent Musberger acting like a guy helping raise his children has done anything admirable. It's what you should do, without question.
