Is CJ Leslie going by Calvin (or something like that) now? That's what they were calling him on the radio today...

Hansbrow with 24 pts and 13 boards tonight. I'm going to LMAO when he averages a double/double this year, or anything close to it...

we have a CJ Leslie and a CJ Williams on the roster. Leslie was a pussy last year(plus he embarrassed the program by letting a booster loan him a car for a week) so he's Calvin per Gottfried. Williams is a two star who busted his ass so he's CJ. when leslie quits being a pussy he may get the "CJ" back. I understand accountability is a foreign concept for a UNC fan but this is how honorable programs do things.

Damn, that private plane crash on I-287 today in NJ that killed the family of 5 involved a college-era friend of me and Hedge. She was married to the investment banker who apparently was piloting the plane. She, her husband, their 2 grade-school-age kids and his business partner all died. I hadn't seen or heard from her in years but just this weekend while in Richmond, I drove by VCU where she went and thought about her and what she was doing these days.

what a fucked up scene.

Yeah, that's on the news strong up here. The dude was a Managing Director at Greenhill. Seems like the crash was due to ice on the wing, supposedly.

I hung out with Corrine, the wife of the pilot of the plane that went down, quite a bit in college. Very cool gal, somewhat of a Deadhead in college. That can't be a good way to go (not that I can think of a good way). Got to be hard on their fambly right here at the holidays (they were flying down to be with her sister's fambly in Atlanta). I didn't know the husband even though he was at Carolina at the same time as me. Evidently he was very highly thought of. Tragic...

In pace requiescat...

This team is to sloppy when the ball is not in Marshall hands

My balls are usually sloppy when I wake up in the morning. Nice and warm, the satchel skin thin and saggety, they feel safe and are wont to dangle askew at that hour. I like it...

Hairston is definitely the best player on the team. Biggest balls by far. I doubt Barnes could've even made the dunk that Hairston destroyed that guy with in the first half. He's got the shot, swagger and athleticism of McCants, and he's taller and bigger. He'll be NPOY next year...

What's up with the San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl? God damn, if San Diego County Credit Union has the juice to host a bowl, we ourght to take up donations in here and have a Goat Pen Bowl. Seriously, the San Diego County Credit Union Bowl? What next, the Laredo Public Library Bowl??

I think that Strickland needs to come off of the bench to keep him fresh and less exposed to the possibility of foul trouble since he is the back-up pg, and I think that Hairston needs to start and start now.

I'm with all the Heels fans in the Pen re: P.J. Hairston being a baller. But if anyone supplants Strickland in the starting lineup, it's going to be Reggie Bullock. That's not my preference, but watch our substitution patterns. Bullock goes in for Strickland, while Hairston checks in for Barnes. Apparently, Roy is more comfortable with Bullock playing 2G than Hairston. In crunch time, I'd prefer having all three athletic wings on the court, shifting Barnes to the PF slot -- which he did at times vs. Texas -- with the results being obvious, as he scored with ease in the post.

I'm liking Bullock's game more and more. I think he's as good as Barnes, he just doesn't have the hype, which is fine with me, b/c it means he'll be back next year. I love the idea of both him and Hairston in the game at the same time, raining down 3's and going hard to the hoop when needed, which both can do.

Carolina will go undefeated next year....

So Crotch, are you trying to tell us that Pitino likes to bend over blonde bimbos at Italian restauarants, while Calipari prefers bending Pitino over? Well, whatever floats your boat...

Merry Christmas to one Mr AlabamaAlum for fulfilling his debt regarding the recent wildcat/crimson tide woodshed beating frank laid upon his best buddy. I will savor those excellent choices with a complementry beverage sometime in the future toasting to the Alum's continued 2012 health and welfare so that I might lighten his humidor of another 2-3 sticks of his choice
