"Lester never was right after his daddy killed hisself. Me and Cecil Edwards was the ones cut him down. Lester come in the store and told it like you’d tell it was rainin out. We went up there and walked in the barn and I seen his feet hangin. He just stood there and watched, never said nothin. We just cut him down, let him fall in the floor. Just like cutting down meat. . . . The old man’s eyes was run out on stems like a crawfish and his tongue blacker’n a chow dog’s."

heard on the news tonight - 4 women have been killed and 2 others are missing over a relatively small period of time in Chillicothe.

They're scared they have a serial killer there

Have the women been derilect or of "low repute?" If so, then yeah, you probably have a serial killer.

yep

the cop on the news was a callous sumbitch about it too

I don't know the exact verbiage, but keep in mind, this is a small town - maybe 20K people on a good day - and 4 women have been killed, all dumped by a water source and 2 are still missing. And he ain't mind up his mind its a serial killer yet.

But anyways the cop was like "well we don't have anything that ties these deaths to the same killer, and most of these women were drug abusers and or prostitutes, so they're gonna end up dead from time to time, but we ain't ruling anything out either"

He didn't say exactly that but it was pretty damn close.

That's somebodies daughter he's talking about.
