my dad just died from one in the aortic arch which is right above the heart. he never saw a doctor -never had an ultrasound not that he would have changed anything even if he knew

abdominal aneurysms are much easier to operate on and much easier to monitor--get an ultrasound in 6 mos and see if it gets bigger get the operation its safe if your overall in good health. keep the bp controlled

What's the difference b/w an aneurism and a hernia?

A hernia is a protruding through an enclosed space (usually, through muscle).

An aneurysm is a weakening and a "bubble" on a vessel (usually an artery).
