Rat? Wow, there is a name I haven't heard in a while.
Do you think him and Shiny are off drinking somewhere? No, on second thought... probably not. Rat "killed" Shiny as I recall Rat liked to proclaim.

Yes, it would appear that would be a step in the right direction.

I sincerely hope all the rumours about us saying "Hi Coach Gruden" come Monday morning are false. Very false.

Dooley must have had naked pictures of Hamilton or Hamilton is an idiot. Dooley and coaches buy out is 9 mil+.

The $9 mil+ is one reason why I don't think Dooley is done after this season. That's a lot of money.
Having said that, it appears Gruden maybe comming back to coaching: in the NFL next season. Rumour has him going to the Chargers.
I just don't see Dooley being done this season. Unless we have a major collapse by losing to Vandy and KY this season.

How much more of a major collapse can be had after these past several years? I expect to lose to Vandy and the team will probably quit against UK again. That wouldn't be a collapse. That would be a situation continuing.

I hope we beat the cocks Saturday. Other people can strategize and wish for different outcomes.

Yes, the past years have been bad. We all know that. We all also know that isn't entirely Dooley's fault and is based in large part on circumstances he inherited. It is based on large part of Kiffin's exoduse and him leaving our team full of inexperienced Freshmen and a bit of Sophmores (cue BOJ). Dooley was rebuilding from scratch and we all knew it. He said this would take 4 to 6 seasons to turn around and no one in their right mind argued with him.
Now flash forward to this year where we now have a new defensive staff along with a new scheme. Our defense is in shambles and they are rebuilding. The funny thing is we wouldn't be having these conversations if Wilcox hadn't left as I feel certain our record, prior to the 'bama game at least, would've been quite different if he had stayed. I'm prepared to say I think there is a real possibility we would have been undeafeted prior to playing 'bama if Wilcox had stayed. 'bama would've still destroyed us though.
Blaming everything on Dooley at this point is a waste of time. The players quitting during KY game last year is a sign of frustration and immaturity on the players fault. Leave the coaches alone (with the possible exception of Sal..). For now.
I do hope they dont' replace Dooley Monday as the rumour mill is saying. However, that rumour mill isn't all that strong and loud at this point. In fact, they are fairly weak...

They are that good. Defense wins championships and they have one. We don't.

I hope Dooley isn't gone this season. But, in the event he is, I would like to nominate...
Louisville Coach Charlie Strong. Being ex-Florida defensive coach, he has SEC experience. He has turned Louisville around this season.
Think about it.
