Thankfully my neighbors work. Except for the one on the left I call Karen. Bitches about everything. Probably already calling the HOA because I am playing Daves video to loud. Um, It's 330. 8 bird feeders. So fucking distracting plus I hate birds. I so want a bb gun to knock a few of those fuckers out onto her porch.

Thank you for that. 6 minutes of loud rock.Fuck her. I'm gonna answer naked the next time she starts knocking. I do and I don't wish I still owned house up here. But once the door opens it's her choice.

I never said they didn't reap some monetary benefits outside their music (such as Cherry Garcia ice cream by Ben and Jerry's or Jerry's ties), but was after decades of touring and it was mostly Jerry after he'd become an icon...

Icon? His wife sold ties after he died. Icon? Seriously?

I have friends who will drop everything to go to WSP shows. I'm talking white collar, responsible adults, but I just can't get into WSP like I can the Dead.

I think part of my appreciation from the Dead is their love for and willingness to incorporate soul and R&B covers into their sets. As someone who grew up listening to Motown / classic soul / R&B playing in his parents' cars (and who explored their old record collections), I always had an appreciation for that music. Then, when I heard the Dead put their own twist on those songs, I was transfixed.

I had an iPod mini with dozens upon dozens of shows from download.org on it. I just stream them on my phone now.

I think I'm going to slide on some over the ear head phones and jam out to a good show now.

PS: Legend has it that Pig Pen banged a gal from Goldsboro for a while. She later married a member of the Nixon administration a few years after his release from federal prison...

wow

talking to a guy that said he saw them at the start of their tour a few years ago, Neil was so fat he could barely get around the stage, tried to pull a girl up on stage to dance with him and couldn't, Tommy Lee had some revolving drum set and got stuck and he was hanging upside down apparently over the crowd, they had to stop the show, then he broke a drum head, had to stop the show and then their guitarist had some problem with his guitar.

He said it was a joke and people were wanting their money back.

I have no amount of musical talent in my body but my kid, now 13, has picked up a guitar during this pandemic and that little fucker is playing all kinds of classic rock tunes. He's fascinated by the Rolling Stones right now and has taught himself how to play at least 7-8 tunes as well as Beatles and David Bowie. I'm a loser. All I can play is the opening chords to Smoke on the Water.

You can make the sounds vocally and play air guitar to it. I can verify that, I've seen you do it...

I've seen you fart out the opening chords to Smoke on the Water whilst playing air guitar and doing the turkey strut, with your head on a swivel, bobbing in a 180 degree range, Jeff Harper style...
