Interesting article on Richard Burr. When I lived in Charlotte, I'd go once a year to DC and lobby for a real estate group since most of my clients were real estate developers. When we were up there in May of 2016, I remember a small group of us sat in Senator Burr's office (which was very nice) and he pointed to a stack of files on his desk he gets every morning from intelligence heads about incoming threats because he was chairman of Senate intelligence committee. He said if you could read those it would scare the shit out of you. Having Donald Trump come in and tie our intelligence agencies hands would be a threat to this country. Later, when he led Senate Committee on investigating Trump and was not clearing the President despite other Senators of the committee speaking out, I thought he still hates Trump. After reading this, I now realize the guy was just lazy and let the folks in intelligence run the investigation. He probably never read those reports on his desk either.

They used Propofol on me.

I remember counting backwards and saying "it's time for this stuff to hit hard" and then hearing "don't move, Mr. DS. Stay on your side and try to pass gas."

I have shit as hard as I did during the prep once before: when I had salmonella poisoning. However, I have never farted that much, that loud or with that much force.

I sent one of my best friends an audio recording of one of my shits. He told me it sounded like it had enough PSI to clean brick and mortar.

I expect to see DeWine lift the mask mandate in Ohio within a month.

He said if cases drop to 50 per 100K he will life the mask mandate. A week ago Ohio was at 110 per 100K with many rural counties well below the 50 threshold.

I was out completely but with versed and I assume the other drugs, I was very mildly aware of what was going on. When I heard the doc say he found a polyp I suddenly had a sense of clarity, enough to mumble something at him.

They used Propofol on me too. Closest thing to smack I've ever had. I might have raised the nurse's eyebrow ever so slightly, b/c she told me to start counting and when I got to about 8, I said "Ah yes, here it comes. Um hmmm. Yeaaahhhh." I think they might've suspected they were dealing with someone who had said those exact words in that exact same tone of voice many times before...

I had Propofol on my hernia surgery. My recovery room nap went WAY over...they brought the anesthesia guy back - it was a whole thing. I thought it was wonderful.

The Relief Bill passed. Joe will sign it into law Friday.

Ugh. I wish I had that happen when I had hernia surgery. I woke up in extreme pain.

A local car dealer -- Mike Lallier -- had just been busted for being a pedophile, and it was revealed he had paid off a bunch of young men and their families in NDA's. When I woke up in recovery I was in intense pain. My wife was there, and the nurse asked me how I was doing. In a loud, angry voice I said "I feel like Mike Lallier's asshole. How the hell do you think I'm doing? Get me something for pain!"

My wife was aghast. Everyone else laughed.
