Well, here's the Heritage election fraud database. It actually goes back to 1982. 1300 cases, sine 1982. Woo boy, stop the presses. This is obviously a MASSIVE issues that everyone needs to stop what they're doing right this second, set their hair on fire and run out into the streets demanding answers...

Here's an example of what they're counting as voter fraud in their database: "Timothy Metz, a candidate for the Morgantown City Council, falsified 21 signatures of voters for his nomination petition, including one deceased person." So somebody running for city council who forged signatures on his own nomination petition is voter fraud. And maybe it is, but I doubt that's what most people have in mind when they think of voter fraud. On a brighter note, if the database includes stuff like this, then that means instances of illegal votes being cast in national elections is even smaller than the paltry 1300 cases that the Heritage foundation has been so methodically accounting for since 1982...

Robert Lee Youngblood, the former President of the Randolph County Tea Party, submitted a mail-in ballot in the 2014 primary, where he was running for a seat on the county board of education. He then voted again at the polls on the first day of early voting. He pleaded guilty to charges of voter fraud. Mr. Youngblood was sentenced to two days in jail to be followed by 18 months of unsupervised probation and was fined $750.
