I remember reading that alot of the Reacher fans were pissed since he was supposed to be like 6'4" in the book

He's superhuman in the books. It would have been really hard to find a real person to play that role as it was written. The book didn't quite translate to the screen. There are about a million more Reacher stories so I'll be interested to see if they do another one and how they change it.

I think the guy in the glasses is Chewy, the tall guy is David Prowse (who played Frankenstein (the monster) in some Hammer movies)...

Actually, he was only in one Hammer film, the last Frankenstein film done by Hammer studios. Entitled "Frankenstein and the Monster from Hell". Here is a sample of some of the dialogue:

Baron Victor Frankenstein aka Dr. Carl Victor: [after operating eyeballs onto the creature] Now, in approximately one hour, when the narcosis wears off... we shall see.
Simon Helder: [jokingly] Let's hope it's he who sees!
Baron Victor Frankenstein aka Dr. Carl Victor: ..."he who sees"?
Simon Helder: Sorry...
Baron Victor Frankenstein aka Dr. Carl Victor: [begins to laugh maniacally] "He who sees"! I like that!
Simon Helder: I didn't think it was that funny, I must say...

I thought they were both pretty good singers. I thought the gag was going to be the newscaster was going to say some outlandish shit just to see if they were paying attention

Prowse is just not quite as tall as Chewy, the "Tall Man" in the Star Wars image. Not to be confused with the truly scary "Tall Man" from Phantasm.

I tried to find a David Prowse image from A Clockwork Orange but couldn't find them. In ACO, he was the weight-lifter/body guard to the writer at the end of the movie (after the writer had been paralyzed from the home invasion.) They needed someone with enough physical power to lift the guy while sitting in the wheelchair, quite impressive actually.

"Dude in glasses is C-3P0. Tall guy is Chewbacca"

You must be right, I knew Prowse was very tall (according to google, Prowse is 6'6"), so I figured the tall guy was him, but the guy who played Chewy was Peter Mayhew (never heard of him), listed on imdb at nearly 7'2". That's got to be him...

Just watched Blazing Saddles for the millionth time, always love the last scene where it just goes off the rails and they go to the current day movie studio and bust in on Dom DeLuis's set ("Watch! Me! Faggots!"). I've noticed this before, but is that Bert Reynolds at the 2:20 mark doing the water ballet? He's not credited. I googled it and got some message board where someone claims it's him (also claims the guy with him is James Caan), but can't find any confirmation...
