I'd support a mandatory $15 minimum wage for all Federal Contractors in the current context of a liberal government.

I think that is a good way to force other companies (that aren't Federal Contractors) to compete with it at a pace they can absorb.

The better messaging would be to control our job markets by not saturating them with cheap labor thereby letting the market decide the minimum wage, along with inviting innovation to improve efficiency but that isn't the way a liberal thinks. Fuck Adam Smith

About 20 some odd states have raised the minimum wage. Let the states determine what’s best for their situation. If people want a higher wage they can move to the state with a higher minimum wage. It shouldn’t be the same across the board.
