Lord Crows reigns supreme in this year's bracket challenge, with a winning point total of 56. 56!! Damn...

Other than FAU I couldn't tell you who is in the final four.

Haven't watched any basketball.

Puff Johnson is considering UK as one of his many schools to transfer. Just what UK needs, another 25% 3 point shooter.

FAU in Memphis’s spot…if the refs do their job and give the Tigers a timeout, the bracket is completely different…

Yes, I’m still bitter.

At the end of the game? There was like 2 seconds left on the clock...

I work with a colleague of mine who feels that March Madness needs to have some kind of "notoriety factor", some kind of "popularity coefficient" that is taken into account when selecting teams to play. It shouldn't be based on overall record, that diminishes the value of the sport. He is of the opinion that
  • there should be NO automatic bids for conference champions NOT among the power-7
  • there needs to be some minimum number of living alumni of the school in order to get into the NCAA and
  • a tournament like this will only hasten the exodus of the SEC and the B1G(16)TEN from the NCAA.
I think he is wrong. I have loved this March Madness if only because I refused to make a bracket this year and anything can and will happen. I think it is great that FAU is there. I think it is great that San Diego State is there. And lest we forget, the ACC, the Big East, and Conf USA is represented in the Final Four. That is not all that out of the ordinary.

I think every single team representing CUSA this year in postseason basketball is leaving next year.

Personally, I cracked the Top 17.5M on ESPN.

Like Crow, the guy tied for the overall lead on the Yahoo brackets has Marquette winning it all...

Memphis retrieved a loose ball, and everyone started calling timeout…the refs ignored them, and called for a jump ball, giving FAU possession and their opportunity to hit the game winner.

You know what wasn't in the script? SEC and B1G(14)TEN teams in the final four.

There is a lot of "upgrading" going on next year. When Cincinatti, Central Florida, Houston, and BYU are invited into "the show" (as they now are) that creates a lot of space for teams to move up into other slots.

Never cared for Perkins as an analyst. Of course you can mention it that he sat but taking a day off at the end of a 3 in 4 on the road stretch when you have injury issues is not something to be wetting your pants over.

Alright....

Miami, UConn, San Diego State, or Florida Atlantic? UConn seems to be the obvious choice (what with them dick stomping everyone in the tourney) but I am not so sure.

I'm going with San Diego State. Just feeling it.

If San Diego State wins, I quit watching basketball forever.

well it is your choice aTm, but there may be at least a 25% chance that San Diego State does in fact win this.
