Watching Avon in Remember The Titans is weird.

Saw a Iron Man 3 today. Entertaining. My oldest called me and was very upset saying it wasn't canon (I guess with the Comic strips), but I liked it.

GoT
I'm a bit annoyed at how Theon's fate is being dragged out.

Will someone kill Joffrey already?

Littlefinger is no joke. He seems to be more (the name of the big black dude who was trying to con Khaleesi) than Tywin, but he is not to be underestimated.
Non-spoiler question that may require a spoiler answer, but what boat was that Sansa was staring out sadly at the end? Was that Littlefinger's?

Yep that was a Littlefinger boat. His sigil was on the sail. LF plays the Game as well as anybody and better than most.

Playing too much D & D as a kid didn't make you guys satanic, it made you into a bunch of nerds. I'm not sure what's worse...

yes, it was Littlefinger's boat. he's certainly formidable but he has too much ambition (whereas the Spider plays for amusement since his ambition was long ago snipped from his loins) to have things end up well for him. Besides, he's fucking Carcetti.

Kind of wondering where this thing is going with Theon but everything always goes somewhere with this show, unlike the The Sopranos the last few seasons.

Don't worry. Joffrey's day is coming. I have a feeling that this relatively bloodless season to date is about to get messy.
Considering Melissandre's (the red witch) words to Arya...maybe she will get her shot at Ilyn Payne, Joffrey, Cersei and The Hound.

Also, I'm not that mad at the Hound. He seemed to be a decent dude...or he wanted to be on Sansa Stark's good side. The Mountain seems like the psycho.
He's a decent dude that chops people in half with a sword.

The dude that played Gregor Clegane in the first season dropped out of GOT to do Conan claiming he didn't have time to do both. The Mountain has had approximately 5 seconds screen time the last two seasons. Just how busy did that guy think he would be?
I'm thinking after the re-cast went over like a lead balloon, that they may hope to get the original guy back. They dont really need to show the Mountain again until a couple more seasons have passed, so it might be a wise idea to just not show the mountain and wait and see who is available when you need him

***Edit

Actually I guess they will need him next season judging by the book/show pacing
Read the first few sentences and bailed on the post as I think it was going to tell me something I don't want to know yet...
The Mountain doesn't get much face time even in the books. But there is one huge scene coming up where he is crucial. The original Mountain fit the description in the books 7'4' 450lb and they replaced him with a guy literally half his size.
the Hound just wanted to sniff Sansa's sweet clam, which probably isn't that sweet considering how dumb she is.

caught Savages on Cinemax a couple of nights ago. Selma Hayak is showing her age a bit but she's still my number #1 leave my wife in an instant choice.

worth watching on premium cable.

Rented Jack Reacher. I really liked it - the plot moved along pretty fast, kept you guessing a bit and I'm a sucker for over the top badasses anyway. I still watch direct to video Van Damme movies.

I wish I'd seen Jack Reacher without having read the books. Tom Cruise was not a good choice.
